Urban Yoga House Hostel & Retreat

My best hostel stay experience in all senses. Thina is the sweetest host and emanates major big-sister energy. I felt like I was being looked after during the stay, and she checked in to see if I was okay every time we crossed paths. The dorm room is within her house, which is very clean and spiritually grounded. You always feel positive energy at her place. Moreover, you have access to all amenities and more than you need to have a comfortable experience. You also cannot ask for a better location, and I highly recommend you come stay with her even when she moves apartments next month. She is the kind of person you want to meet on a vacation, and so are others who occupy the space as guests. Also, Rex is the sweetest doggo I have come across.

The WiFi was sometimes spotty, but that was an issue on the service provider's end, not the hostel's.

Unique property (in lots of really good ways)

The environment was incredibly calm and peaceful, allowing me to feel that same sense of calmness within myself. It felt like so much more than just a place to sleep. The personal touches throughout the space made it feel warm and welcoming, almost like receiving a warm hug. Thina was incredibly kind, polite, and caring, making the whole experience even more special. It was such a unique experience to stay in a place where yoga and spirituality naturally coexist with the accommodation. The location is also ideal for exploring the city. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, meaningful, and unique experience.

I liked everything about the property, the host, the location, the yoga retreat vibe of hostel, the view from roof terrace incredible…I will return

Loved the option of having the balcony door open during the night but would have been good to have a screen.
