Saranac Lake Cabin w/ Beach Access

Very cute house. We loved the Hummingbird/butterfly garden, Fire pit, Screened in porch, Kayaks to paddle out around the peninsula..and the views from there are amazing. Swimming beach. Gas grill. Cute and campy cabin. Hot water. House had everything you needed, and chairs for the beach area. It's close to some really great hikes, golf, the wild center, Olympic stuff in lake placid, saranac lake, Donnelly's ice cream. Strong wifi. Very responsive owner. We liked the jack and jill bath/bedrooms downstairs (two twins and one queen). Upstairs has the walk in shower and two twins.

The swimming beach is in the cove, where you have to cross the main road, and not on the expansive side of the lake as one would expect. Still a good swimming beach though. Lots of little things need repairs, but that's to be expected. A dryer would be amazing since things seem to take a while to air-dry. And curtains that cover the whole windows would be nice for the sides that face the neighbors. Also, this booking is more through Evolve, so you can find more info about the property there.

The beds, towels, and linens are comfy, the toiletries are good quality, the lake is super close and access with kayaks is really easy. The cabin owner, Chris is a great guy and really helpful. He’s always available if you need him. The house is tucked away from the town and secluded for a nice, quiet, relaxing vacation.

It was a bit far from the high peaks if you’re looking for a jumping off point, but that’s more of a personal problem.
