We loved the location of this house. We were within walking distance to the town and also to the Rails by Trails. It is also just 15-20 minutes to Lake Placid. The house was loaded with all the essentials that we needed to make our trip easy and comfortable.
We used the upstairs deck every night to watch the sun go down. I highly recommend this house and Saranac Lake for a nice relaxing vacation.

Enjoyed our stay at this home. Girls trip to watch international ice dance competition. Location convenient to lakes,hikes,Lake Placid. Home comfortable, clean and thoughtfully appointed. would return.

The house and overall experience were great! We were a group of 4 friends in town for some ADK hiking, and the house was perfect- very clean, well stocked, comfy, spacious and a good location. We cooked most dinners there and the kitchen had plenty of amenities! The laundry facilities were a great bonus as it was very wet and snowy for our hikes, so the dryer came in handy.

This was a wonderful house in Saranac Lake. It is an older house with wonderful charm. I decorated cookies with my niece and nephew because we had the space to do so! (Unlike a hotel room) It was also very pet friendly, though I always make sure my dogs are well-behaved. It was very clean, and easy to keep clean. The owners were friendly and helpful.
Just a note: if you have older pets, or pets with spine issues they may have hard time with the stairs. I kept mine in their crates at night downstairs because the stairs were just a bit too steep for my dog who has a spine issue.
Other than that, just a wonderful place to stay!
