The house was clean and cozy. Check in was a breeze and the host allowed us to check out an hour late with short notice.

We loved the location of this house. We were within walking distance to the town and also to the Rails by Trails. It is also just 15-20 minutes to Lake Placid. The house was loaded with all the essentials that we needed to make our trip easy and comfortable.We used the upstairs deck every night to watch the sun go down. I highly recommend this house and Saranac Lake for a nice relaxing vacation.

Location was something left to be desired. It's right on the road near a busy road and behind an equipment rental company that if you are there during business hours can be noisy. Also, the neighbor decided to play drums for an hour at 9pm one night.
The house is nice and recently re-done. If you have a toddler with you, I would suggest bringing a baby gate for the top of the stairs and they are very steep and we didn't have one so we had to block it with a pack & play that was in the hallway closet.
Check out was a bit of a long laundry list of things to do and you still got charged a cleaning fee! If someone is coming to clean why should we have to put the trash out in the dumpsters and remove sheets from beds, I've done half the work for you.
