About this cottage rental
the villa is independent has 1 double bedroom with private bathroom, two very comfortable double bedrooms, a bedroom for singles or children, all bedrooms have air conditioning and heating, then you will find a large living room with fireplace, two very comfortable sofas, a table that can accommodate up to 20 people. The villa is located at the foot of the forest with free access and nature trails. for excursions we are 1 km from the town of cacamo where we can visit the largest medieval castle then we are 30 km from Palermo and 30 km from Cefalu.
for those who wish we have the possibility of Sicilian cooking lessons by paying only dinner or lunch. at the beginning of July the swimming pool and the multi-function tennis court will be installed.

C'est une jolie et vaste maison perchée tout au bout d'un long chemin chaotique de plus de 3km à partir de Cacamo (12 km de la mer et 580 m d'altitude). Il y fait très calme, la campagne est belle et la vue est superbe.
Par contre, nous avons eu des surprises en arrivant :
* nos premières douches étaient froides : le chauffe-eau était en erreur, mon mari a du nettoyer la soupape de surpression pour qu'il se mette en route
* la climatisation était éteinte (malgré les 35°) et quand on l'a allumée, elle s'est mise en alarme car il n'y avait plus de fréon et le propriétaire n'a jamais trouvé de frigoriste ... il nous a amené un petit groupe qui ne pouvait pas rafraichir 4 chambres et un séjour en même temps
* la piscine annoncée sur l'annonce n'était pas là
* il y a bien un terrain de sport avec un revêtement synthétique plus ou moins étalé mais pas un ballon ni une raquette pour en profiter (quand on arrive en avion, on ne prend pas ce genre de chose avec nous)
Nous avons tout de même passé un bon séjour car la Sicile est très belle et diversifiée ... mais nous avons eu très chaud
