Absolutely stunning location, only 30 mins drive from Christchurch or you can head off round the peninsulas or down to the beach areas. Lyttelton is a working harbour with lots to see and a great little town if you like coffee culture. The house itself is the pride and joy of the hosts Jenny and Frank and this shows in the attention to detail throughout the property. We loved the gardens which overlook the harbour, and the BBQ area is the perfect evening sun trap. The large kitchen area is very well equipped if you wish to cook a meal, and tea, coffee, milk, cereals, biscuits are always available. When our flight home was cancelled Jenny and Frank were extremely helpful with contact details for local travel agents and we were also able to extend our stay by a few days which was much appreciated.

Jenny and Frank are delightful hosts and we would definitely go back. Their home is impeccable, warm and inviting. We didn’t want to leave. We loved our stay.
