Excellent stay when it is not +30 degrees

Situated inside a very well maintained, clean and beautiful domain, at less then 10 minutes walking distance from Gordes. Swimming pool shared with around 40 other houses, but many of these houses were empty, so it never felt crowded. The house is nice. A concierge was our contact point. He was professional and quite available.

Not a lot of storage room. For a family of 4, it is an acceptable size, but it is not large at all. Our main drawback was the temperature. The house heats up very quickly because of a large window on the south side. Even if we kept the windows closed when outside temperature starts rising, it gets very hot inside. At night we had to sleep with all windows fully opened because inside the temperature was over 30 degrees. I really recommend the place, but not in summer times...

Mediocre overpriced place with nice kitchen and swimming pool

Nice well equipped kitchen and small well arranged living room. Enjoyable outdoor sitting area Easy to use and cheap common laundry Accommodating owner let us check out a bit later. Nice swimming pool

Mold in the bedrooms Half the closets in bedrooms were unusable as full of cleaning supplies The smaller bedroom was not good enough for two adults: twin beds were very small and mattresses were thin. It also contained a little surprise: the hot water tank was in the wardrobe! This created an unhealthy atmosphere in the room. Nowhere to store our stuff or luggage really.

Ideal Location, but let down.

Location to Gordes, Pool,

Too small for price, toilet too small, no coat hangers, awning outside no use, leaks. Dark interior, electrical socket by sofa does not work, no sockets in bedroom by kitchen. No local suggestions book. Never saw or heard from Xavier, even though we called and told him we would be there during the alloted hours. He said he would catch up, never saw him. Dishwasher stinks. For the price, it needs two bathrooms.

Parking is safe and secure and the pool was a welcome feature. It is just a short stroll into Gordes and all that it has to offer. An excellent base to explore the region
