About this villa rental
Newly furnished, it is a nice house with shady garden enclosed by walls in terraces. An outbuilding and a private pool (8m x 3m) complete this charming property. This dry stone villa overlooks the valley and the Luberon Mountains. It is located just steps from the famous medieval village of Gordes and allows direct access to hiking trails.
The house is ground floor and each room has French doors to the garden. The dining room and kitchen open onto a sunny terrace with a large retractable sun shade, ideal for outdoor dining. On the other side of the house, the windows of the three rooms overlook the rear garden where you will find a bowling green in a wooded area surrounded by old traditional stone walls. The Provençal garden is mainly with trees and shrubs such as cypress, fig tree (it offers visitors an endless supply purple figs in season!), Lavender, oak, olive and oleander.
The house consists of a bright and spacious living room and a dining room. Two comfortable sofas are arranged facing a large fireplace. A library cabinet offers books in English, French and German. The new tourist guides 2017 are available. French doors lead directly to the terrace and pool. The adjacent kitchen, well equipped, also features a roundtable 6 places. From the living room and kitchen, there is a corridor leading to 3 bedrooms (2 with a bed 2 places and a room with two twin beds), two bathrooms, and a separate toilet. The living room, dining room and two rooms have air conditioning.
The entrance gate and the garage door are automated.
