The Granary sits on the banks of the River Lugg. Situated halfway between Hereford and Leominster, and a short walk away from England's Gate Inn, the Granary is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, its market towns and the City of Hereford itself. The accommodation is large and spacious and all on one level. It briefly comprises: double and twin bedroom; shower room, fully fitted kitchen, dining area, sitting room; French windows opening to the riverside garden. Guests at the Granary have access to the 'beach' area directly next to the River Lugg where they may fish, paddle or simply relax! The Granary also benefits from: ample off-road parking; free Wi-Fi. The Forge at Bodenham, consists of four properties, the Smithy, the Granary, the Old Stables and the Hayloft, all of which are available to rent on a self-catering basis.

The Granary provided us with the accommodation and ambience that was just for us. It was spotless when we arrived and Salma answered any queries we had within an hour of raising them on the VRBO website. The setting is peaceful and relaxing especially sitting in the garden. There are lots of historic houses, towns and gardens to enjoy within 15 miles so we were never bored.

Very comfortable. Booked over Christmas period as close to our son. We had my 95 year old mother with us. Comfortable bolt hole at the end of a busy day with the family. Due to localised flooding a slightly longer trip than anticipated, but probably common at this time of year! Must be beautiful in the drier months!

Property was great. Very comfortable and clean with well equipped kitchen. Had a relaxing few days exploring the area and walking our dog Maisie. We will return.

Beautiful surroundings for plenty of dog walks..... although some paths overgrown or padlocked ( due to Covid we presume ) all made for some adventures. The property had everything we needed for us to relax.
