About this house rental
At the heart of the Brionnais Roman church circuit, this fully restored family home will seduce you with its charm and luxurious services.
Quietly located in the upper part of the village, you will have a view of the pretty bell tower of the church on the east side and you can enjoy to the west a large swimming pool (12 m long) and a jacuzzi area in a magnificent walled garden without any opposite and secure for children.
The very important convivial meals on vacation can be taken in the garden by the swimming pool or in the shelter of the boxwood and the house.
In rainy weather or hot weather you will choose the dining room of the house or the large barn.
Each place has a different atmosphere and is equipped with tables and chairs and umbrellas.
A summer kitchen is at your disposal with barbecue and plancha.
The house is old and cool in the summer. It has been restored with the watchword: keep the country spirit but bring comfort and refinement.
In the large kitchen you will find all the equipment necessary for making large meals:
-a gas kitchen piano,
- oven
-microwave,
- large freezer,
- Kenwood robot,
- coffee machine, kettle,
-toaster .
The large living room allows everyone to be comfortably seated.
The adjoining office is ideal for card games or board games.
Upstairs the 5 bedrooms are large and different:
-a large green room with desk and 160 cm bed,
-the lovely pink bedroom with its adjoining shower 160 cm bed,
-the blue room with a 160 cm bed and a connecting room of 10 m2 with a cradle,
- the large red bedroom is often dedicated to children with 3 large 120 cm roll beds.
Two bathrooms (one with shower and one with bath) are shared upstairs. The toilets are separate. Please note all bedding is new.
And for meals we choose the dining room of the house or the large barn.
We leave at your disposal: board games, 5 bikes, ping pong table, bowling green, skittles.
Located behind the church, the house and its large garden are very peaceful. While the village shops (supermarket with bread depot, catering restaurant, newsagent and Friday morning market) are within walking distance.
The centers of interest are varied and of quality:
-1 culture: visit to Cluniac sites in Charlieu (priory, abbey and convent), circuit of the Romanesque churches of Brionnais, basilica of Paray le monial, medieval site of Semur en Brionnais.
-2 Gastronomy: organic market in Charlieu on Saturday morning, the big Monday market in Marcigny, the famous cattle market in Saint Christophe en Brionnais to discover the maquignon and the traditional Charollaise meat on Thursday, the TROISGROS farm in Iguerandes.
-3 Activities:
- many well-signposted walking or cycling routes between Loire and canal and the remarkable greenway (Roanne Saint Yan, tennis in Marcigny,
- Vichy spa town and its 2 golf courses at ¾ hour,
-visit the PAL theme park at one o'clock,
- canoeing down the Loire,
-changing donkey rides with children along the canal hallage path
