Do stay here, it’s a gem!

James and Gilles are wonderful hosts, and their Maison d’hôtes reflects their impeccable taste. Every detail of the house and interiors is thoughtful and full of charm, making it a very special place to stay. Breakfast was superb: fresh, generous, and beautifully presented. We felt warmly welcomed throughout and truly enjoyed our time at Les Tillets.

This house is a gem, a rare find, restored and decorated most beautifully. The garden with box hedges and mature trees add to the charm and the delightful owners, James and Giles make a stay at les Tillets such a joy.

So perfect!

Amazing house with a separate 3 floor dependance available for guests. When you pass through the doorway you are diving on another dimension. Gilles&James have a incredible care for details: furnitures, decors, bathroom and bed linen are on a high quality level. Fresh flowers were on the bedroom and on the livingroom side table when we arrived. The garden with swimming pool is relaxing and so nice looking. Good breakfast served on the main house when we had the best espresso of our vacation in France.

A chocolate box property - perfect for exploring southern Burgundy!

Les Tillets is an utterly charming place to stay in a very pretty French village perched on a hill. We stayed in the cottage next to the main house, with our three teenage children. The cottage has been beautifully renovated and decorated and every detail thought through by Gilles and James the hosts. It has a generous sized kitchen with a big table and a comfortable sitting room. The garden is lovely and has a small (but long!) pool which we really enjoyed as it was very hot when we were there. Gilles and James were extremely helpful with local knowledge and anything else needed.

Gilles and James made us feel right at home in their beautifully furnished stylish accommodation. The pictures shown on their website are true to this lovely place. The garden and pool area are calm and beautiful. Our room, the kitchen and lounge area were clean, well organised with attention to every detail. Our breakfast in the formal dinning room was a choice of local products. James and Gilles gave us great recommendations for dinner and even made our reservations. Thank you James and Gilles for a wonderful stay in your beautiful village.

Bellezza, stile e autenticità!

La struttura è veramente bella. Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli, dall’esterno col suo giardino all’italiana e la piscina, che all’interno con ambienti ricercati e camere pulitissime. James e Gilles, i proprietari, sono le persone piu ospitali e attente ai dettagli che abbia mai incontrato viaggiando. È stata sicuramente l’esperienza più autentica del nostro viaggio in Francia. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour aux Tillets. Nos charmants hôtes nous ont très bien accueillis ; La maison et ses jardins sont exquis et d'un goût des plus raffinés ; Le dîner était vraiment délicieux ; L'attention dans les moindres détails était non seulement adorable mais aussi très inspirante ! Een warm en gastvrij verblijf in een prachtig gedecoreerd vakantiehuis met heerlijk eten, een mooi zwembad en volop rust

Bij aankomst werden wij hartelijk ontvangen door de twee ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaren. Vooraf hadden James en Gilles ons al leuke tips gegeven voor goede restaurants in de buurt. Er is bovendien meer dan genoeg te doen aan activiteiten in de omgeving. Wij verbleven in het vakantiehuis, dat tot in de puntjes is gedecoreerd en van alle gemakken voorzien. Tijdens ons verblijf werden we uitgenodigd voor een heerlijk driegangendiner, verzorgd door James en Gilles zelf, tegen een zeer schappelijke prijs. Ook het uitgebreide ontbijt met lokale producten, dat elke ochtend werd geserveerd, was echt top! We hebben volop genoten van onze dagen hier en raden een verblijf bij Maison d’hôtes zeker aan voor wie de rust wil opzoeken in een pittoresk Frans dorpje op het platteland. De prachtige tuin met zwembad maakt het helemaal af. Bedankt James en Gilles – wij komen zeker nog eens terug! Groetjes, Tobias en Ilse

James y Giles son personas con empatía y yo valoro mucho eso. Antes de conocerlos y conocer el lugar yo no entendía porque las personas les ponen 10 sobre 10 de calificación pero ahora despues de haber estado allí lo entiendo. In één woord: wauw!

Prachtige B&B, zowel van buiten als van binnen. Het interieur is met zorg uitgekozen en smaakvol ingericht. Aan het zwembad geniet je van de prachtig verzorgde tuin en kom je heerlijk tot rust. Het ontbijt is compleet en bestaat uit locale producten. Gilles en James zijn twee ontzettend vriendelijke hosts, welke een stapje extra zetten om jouw verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Al met al, een warm welkom en verblijf met huiselijk gevoel.
