About this cabin rental
Saturday to Saturday rentals in June, July, and August. This beautifully crafted Norwegian cabin retreat sleeps up to 6 people for the perfect year round getaway. Weather it be your Summer Escape, Winter Wonderland for the World Famous Birkebeiner, Fall Color Tour or Spring Fishing, Beaver Bay Retreat on Nelson Lake has it all. Large Master Bedroom offers stunning lakeside views, full kitchen, stocked with all you need for cooking, grilling and barbecuing! Family room also offers beautiful views of Nelson's perfect sunsets. Cabin is equip with a 3/4 bath, laundry for convenience so that you never have to go home with dirty laundry! Large deck for those beautiful summer days/nights for enjoying the sun, playing cards, relaxing or grilling dinner. Expansive yard is great for corn hole, volleyball, sunbathing or bonfires around the fire pit. Walk out basement is filled with water toys, kayaks, bikes for cruising the neighborhood to visit the local establishments. Lastly, what would a cabin be with out the perfect dock for fishing some of the best Walleye around. 2,500 acres of pristine water for the perfect fisherman. Bring the boat or pontoon for a leisurely cruise, water skiing or tubing. Walking distance to Tall Pines Resort for dinner and drinks or Reiskies Island View Resort for an unbelievable view and best crowd in town! Your family will feel right at home in our little slice of heaven. Located 5 miles outside of Hayward for those rainy days or quick runs to the grocery store. ATV trails located at the end of the block and bait store, boat launch just around the corner. Beaver Bay Retreat on Nelson Lake has it all and then some. We look forward to sharing it with you!

Cabin was nice and spacious. Enjoyed the beautiful lake views from the cabin. There’s a big picture window in the living room and a nice deck to sit on. Nice boat dock with easy access. Cabin owner was very friendly and easy to work with.

Loved being on the water!! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, which was great! Nice to have two separated bedrooms, one for the teens and one for the parents. We all enjoyed a relaxing time. Communication with Greg throughout the week was appropriate and responsive!

Initially we were very happy. Greg was very helpful and check in went well. The cabin was well stocked and quite nice. The lake was beautiful and the recreational toys were very much enjoyed. Fishing and swimming were great. All went well until the day before we were to leave. The cleaning lady came to the cabin to begin cleaning on Saturday when we still had occupancy. We got a text from Greg stating guests were arriving at 4 p.m. and we were supposed to be out! OUR contract stated departure was on Sunday. A text back to him said he was mistaken. Because it took Greg awhile to respond...the men loaded the boat and the women quickly packed suitcases and food items and began loading the car. We were trying to accommodate his request. Then we heard from him stating he was mistaken and check out was truly on Sunday. We could stay! WE WERE PACKED! OK...mistakes can be made. But

Accusing us of not cleaning, using recreational drugs, breaking the air conditioner, using their pillows and blankets and breaking the toilet seat. My daughter surprised us by bringing a couple of Guinea pigs in a very sturdy cage and these were NEVER let out during our stay. We understood being charged for pets but they accused us of animal droppings under beds..UNTRUE! Instead of refunding us for chasing us out a day early and ruining our vacation...
They charged an additional $250..giving us no proof of an air conditioner bill or plumbing bill. In the end we considered this mistake was mishandled...because of the false accusations made by Allison and the additional charges to our credit card. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
