Welcome to Blue Haven Hideaway! Limited availability for some of most picturesque winter riding experiences and world renowned cross country skiing in Wisconsin with direct access to the trail system! Relax with family at this peaceful newly remodeled four bed, two bath, four season cabin located on beautiful Nelson Lake, just 8 miles from downtown Hayward. New deck and fire pit in 2023. Easy access to ATV, snowmobile and mountain biking trails as well as thousands of acres of public hunting land. Snowmobile trail #4 runs right through the middle of Nelson Lake creating access to hundreds of miles of beautiful trails. Cabin is equipped with all new stainless steel appliances and central air. Adult and child kayaks included. Includes a private dock with a space for your boat and is steps away from a shared sandy beach with swimming platform. Note: There are three outside security cameras installed for security and safety purposes. They are pointed at the driveway, the dock and on the walkway. There are no cameras inside the cabin.

Absolutely excellent! Super clean. The beds were comfy. The linens, pillows and towels were top notch. Kitchen had everything you need and more, minus spices. Very nice deck with nice table and chairs. View was fantastic. So quiet! I would highly recommend this property!!!!

We come back every year at this time. We love the amenities, the location and the beautiful scenary. We love Blue Haven. It has become our favorite destination for our annual girl's weekend. Thank you!!

Home is in nice location. We enjoyed the lake, neighborhood was quiet and Hayward is a quick 10 min drive for your in-town needs. The stand alone queen beds are on metal cots and headboards are not attached. It's not often that I leave a vacation rental feeling worse physically than when I arrived due to the beds.It didn't appear that there was recycling. We might have missed this, but if not, this is unforgivable in the hospitality industry in these times. The kitchen had plenty of supplies for for cooking and baking. Be sure to bring all of your own food/essentials as there are a few items but they seem to be things that were left by other guests rather than intentionally supplied. The best thing about this place is the location and access to the lake. It's unfortunate that the view is obstructed by their own shed, kayaks (for guest use, which was very nice) and two large boats. With all of the signage inside the house, 9am check out and house rules, you can't help but wonder if the owners are expecting guests to take better care of the place than they do. With plenty of lakes and lake homes for rent in Wisconsin, we would not rent this place again.
