About this cottage rental
This 3 bedroom/2 bath cottage sleeps 8 and is just minutes from Hayward.
This lake cottage features a full kitchen with granite countertops, modern appliances, central air conditioning, living room equipped with a smart tv and free WiFi and private dock for your boating and swimming enjoyment. Enjoy the spectacular views from the 3- season room and large deck that overlook Round Lake. Everyone will enjoy the lower level rec room filled with entertainment complete with a gas fireplace, tv, foosball, ping pong, dartboard and card table. Plus many card and board games all ages will be sure to love. Enjoy evenings by the outdoor fire pit, just steps outside from the screened porch. A walk down the steps will bring you to the dock where you can tie up your watercraft of choice for your water adventures. A canoe with paddles, two bicycles (child/woman's size) and a floating oasis (I-float) are provided for your enjoyment. There is also a propane gas grill provided for your cooking and grilling needs.
The Master bedroom is located on the main level and offers a queen bed, large walk-in closet, master bath and patio doors that walk out onto a private deck.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and is located on second level.
Bedroom #3 has 2 twin beds and is located on second level.
There's also a FULL SIZE Sofa Sleeper in rec room and one air mattress available.
The dock accommodates boats up to 40 feet in length. The water level at the end of the dock is about 4 1/2 feet deep. Please note that the dock is typically pulled from the water mid-to-late October, dependent on the weather.
The water is clear to about 10 feet of depth, so swimming can be done from the dock. Water shoes are recommended as some areas have a gravel bottom.
Round Lake is approximately a 3,000 acre lake with 19 miles of shoreline with many bays. The lake is a spring fed lake and is so clear - you can see the bottom at 10 ft.
It has a sandy bottom and shoreline and is great for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking and canoeing.
Round lake does have a public beach for kids to enjoy a sandy beach. There are several other beaches and sand bars obtainable by boat.
For your convenience, there is an on lake boat rental service located at Round Lake Marina.

This is not a party house. The neighbors watch this home closely. If we get noise complaints from your group you will be fined $500 and be banned from booking with us again.
This home is a non-smoking and non-pet home. Anyone violating this will be charged $500.00.

Our second time visiting this cabin. Nice amenities, beautiful cabin, and great access to lake. My family had a great time!

It was a lovely setting with gorgeous views of the lake. I wish I had had a moreclear understanding of how high up the house was. It is difficult for those of us in our 70s or even our 60s to go up-and-down 80 plus stairs to get to the water. I also wish I had known that there was no access to the water, unless you were willing to walk over big rocks. A ladder at the end of the dock to let you ease into the water would have been helpful.
