About this bed and breakfast
We are situated in Gonubie in the avenues. We are 13km from East London and 20km from East London Airport.
Please note we have 3 separate units. The Apartment can sleep up to 6 (4 adults and 2 children) people, the Classical Room only 2 people and the Starlight Room can sleep 2 people. Therefore it is also ideal for a traveling party of 10. Book the unit for your December Holidays for your family and friends.
We live on site, which will
help both parties if there are any questions. We are situated in a quiet neighborhood. We are walking distance down to the rocks, +- 1,5 km down. No swimming beach at the rocks, but you will be able to do some fishing. The swimming beach is about 4 km away. We would advise you to hire a car or arrive with your own car. Gonubie is very easy to get around by car. The nearest Spar (grocery store) is about 2km away. There are other grocery stores, butchers, banks, clothing stores all situated in our little town.
We expect our guests to have respect for our neighbors, as well as for us. We don’t tolerate any drunkenness on the property or any breakage due to negligence will be the guest responsibility to replace.
ACTIVITIES
For those rainy days, we recommend to visit our many shopping malls in and around East London (Hemmingways Mall, Vincent Park or Beacon Bay Retails Park). We also have great adventures for the kids to enjoy. These include the Lion Park which is about 20 km out on the Stutt road and just further on you will find the snake park. We also have game farms around the area, +- 40 km away. Need to book for a game drive. We also have the best farmers market in South Africa known as Lavender Blue – you have to stop there and enjoy one of their famous dark/medium roast flat whites, with a lemon meringue to top it off.
