This cozy, comfortable and clean home is the perfect mountain getaway and fully equipped long term rental. Centrally located on a quiet street in the premier, gated resort community - The Hideout. Only minutes away from key amenities including the main lodge, pool, beach, kids pool, tennis courts, Tiki bar, skill hill, golf course, fitness center and more.
Perfect for a getaway anytime of the year, this home is fully furnished, sleeps 8-10 people with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, fully equipped kitchen, large deck, three season screened-in porch, outdoor fire pit, large gravel driveway for parking, dvds, games, kids toys, washer/dryer, roku streaming devices, wifi and more. Also includes two separate work areas with monitors. It has everything needed for a comfortable long term stay.
Two of the bedrooms feature a queen bed, with the other bedroom/lounge includes twin bunk beds and twin daybed/trundle that converts to a double bed if needed. There is also a spacious loft with another twin daybed and pull out trundle.

The Hideout is a complete, four season, recreational community with over forty miles of paved roads. Part of the Wallenpaupack Watershed, the community has three main bodies of water commonly used for recreational purposes: Roamingwood Lake (198 acres); Deerfield Lake (25 acres); and Brooks Lake (9 acres). Also located within the community are Windemere Lake (1 acre); Hidden Lake (1 acre); and Big Springs Pond (3 acres). Guests are greeted by our Entrance Pond (3.2 acres) and eventually makes its way down to Lake Wallenpaupack via Ariel Creek.
It features: 24 Hour Security, Gated Entrance, Public Utilities, Central Water and Sewer, Clubhouse with restaurant, Lodge, Campgrounds, 250 Acres Of Pristine Woodlands, and a Dog Park.

Communication with the home owner was excellent. She was flexible and helpful. The home was as stated and had enough room for the children to entertain themselves while the adults had their space to relax and catch up. Kitchen is well-stocked. It could have been slightly cleaner but I am admittedly particular for cleanliness. I appreciated leather couches and bringing my own towels and sheets. The ski lift was not functioning so we went skiing somewhere else (which was not the plan and no fault of the owners). We hope to come back to

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was extremely clean and well stocked with plenty of games, puzzles and movies for both the adults and children. The bedrooms were a nice size and the beds were very comfortable! Many of the rooms had ceiling fans, tv’s with roku and DVD players. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials like pots and dinnerware. Some nice extra touches were available like garbage bags, dish soap and dishwashing detergent. One of the best features of the home was the fire pit complete with surrounding Adirondack chairs. Our children loved sitting by the fire roasting marshmallows after a long day of activities. In addition to the fire pit there were many great areas to hang out outside like the deck, screened in porch and the picnic table in the backyard. Lastly the owners were accessible and answered any questions we had immediately. I have rented many homes in this community over 10 years and this is by far the best rental we have stayed in yet.

The home was perfect for our large family. Everything was just as described and the homeowner Kate was a pleasure to work with. Hope to visit again in the summer months .
