East Lake Cottage: Entire Home, pet friendly, Walk to Coffee/Restaurants!

Good stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Sitting on the porch was so relaxing and we enjoyed walking to local resturants. Will absolutely stay again!!!

This property felt like home, perhaps even better!! I'm always a bit hesitant to stay at rental homes, especially after having a very negative experience with an another popular home rental company in Atlanta during Covid with a filthy rental when I had to go be with my daughter to care for her after emergency ankle surgery while she was in college. Not only was the unit disgusting, receiving prior complaints from other guests, but the other company did nothing to help. Thankfully, I had nothing to worry about with this beautiful East Lake Cottage. It was spotless, looking and smelling clean. It had everything I needed.There are two churches on the opposite side of the street. I was there on Easter weekend. There was a large funeral at one of the churches. I was unable to park right in front of the home during the funeral, but I still found convenient parking. Every other time I came back, I found parking right up front. The neighborhood is very quiet and I felt safe the entire time. Very cute area. I would definitely recommend and come back. Don't hesitate to rent this property.

Cleanliness of Property: There were pet stains on the carpets, couch, and pillows on the couch. The inside of the dishwasher was dirty. There was a blood stain on the floor in the bathroom. There was a pet odor coming from the comforter in the master bedroom. Communication with Property Manager: We contacted the property managers by phone to see if it might be possible for us to check in 1 day early and had to wait 4 - 5 days before getting a response. By then, the response was too late. Accuracy of Online Listing: The bathroom is much SMALLER than illustrated in the listing. Location and Neighborhood: We heard police sirens and people yelling outside during the night. The property is a corner property that juts out at the intersection of 2 streets.
