The ocean in the distance, tranquil, private surroundings, and relaxing amenities at every turn - welcome to Fun for Shore in Whalehead! When you're not on Corolla's beaches, enjoy this home's oceanside living plus its convenient serene setting.
This home has its own private pool for relaxing and chilling out away from the crowd with your favorite beverage. The expansive pool deck also includes a charcoal grill for grilling out and entertaining! Your very own volleyball court allows your group access to fun games throughout your stay! If you're more into just laying back on vacation, relax in the hot tub after a sunny day on Corolla's sandy shores.
Inside the home, you will find the first level's recreation room right off of the pool deck. The competitive ones in your party will love having the pool table for hours of entertainment, while the others can sit and watch the game in comfortable seating with a drink from the kitchenette! Two bunk bedrooms provide space for 6 and share a full bath on this level.
Upstairs on the second level is where you'll find two King En Suites with full baths and sliding glass doors to the covered deck space. One King bedroom and Twin bedroom with two beds round out this level's bedroom options. A cozy common area provides open seating, but you can always grab your book to enjoy a good read on the expansive deck. There is also a laundry room on this level with full-size washer and dryer.
Get the whole family together for a fun time in the third level's spacious great room! Cooking will be a thing of ease in your open and airy kitchen, with fully-equipped cabinets and appliances. A dining area with a large main table can accommodate your guests, but the kitchen's island also acts as a bar for additional seating for four. The living room has a large widescreen TV, gas fireplace and plenty of comfy seating, perfect for a movie night in! This beautiful room's relaxing character is accented by the ocean views from the surrounding windows, Illuminating the space with natural light. The King En Suite offers guests a comfy experience with its own private access to the sunny second level deck.
The home is perfectly situated within the community by being right across from convenient shopping centers that include some of the area's favorite restaurants, shopping and recreation! You're also nearby to historic Corolla attractions such as the Whalehead Club and Currituck Beach Lighthouse. A stay with your family and friends at Whalehead community in the beautiful Corolla area will make wonderful memories for years to come.
This property has 5 parking spots for guests and an EV Charger for your use.
**Private unheated pools will open on April 16th and close on October 1st. Hot Tubs are available year-round. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No pets allowed in pools.**
Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.

What a great place for a family of 13 with children 8and down!

It was very nice and we really enjoyed it. I would suggest that the pool table were repaired or replaced and if they could add a ping pong table outside by the entrance. Other than that I think this is the perfect place to stay. Groceries are right behind the house and the beach is a 30 second walk. I would highly recommend this place and will hopefully be coming back.

Every Summer a group of my high school friends go to obx Labor Day weekend & staying here was great! Big enough for everyone to have their own rooms/space. Great pool! We wished that the outside volleyball court was playable because that would of been a big hit for us! But other than that we had a great stay! Great location!
