Well presented apartment in a beautiful area, we were very happy

Very clean & well equipped, great location & a parking space!

All was good, but it would have been even nicer if there was a welcome pack of a few tea-bags & a maybe a biscuit! All there was were two bags of cheese & onion crisps which was a bit random! This is a very small gripe though, the place was lovely.

Dated decor. A bit unloved/tatty for the price (wardrobe door missing, empty hand soaps, gaps in the kitchen plinth where new appliances have been added, velux windows really dirty).

Disapointing

The grounds of the property were well maintained.

The property had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. There was food in the fridge, the bins had not been emptied and shower dirty.

Easy to collect and staff very helpful would have been good to have a safe key box for departure would have saved going back into town

The apartment was superb but could have done with better pillows although that is a personal preference

Too many steps up to the apartment and the hill too steep to get to the place

Get used to driving the narrow roads and you can go out and the fantastic scenery and fresh air.

Location was fine. I had used Google maps street view to get a visual in my head first, which really helped. We should have been more prepared for the severe gradients when out for a walk but the end result was always worth it. Weather was fantastic for most of our short stay.

Not used to the very narrow lanes and the occasional need to reverse long distance to find passing point. Office staff at key collection were great and, when I explained my concerns, gave me a details local map which indicated better roads for us/me than my sat nav. Stress levels dropped quite a bit after that. Also, the parking slot allocated was very very steep and our 2 door car with large doors meant that opening them was either like lifting a ton weight (uphill) or nearly being dragged out of the car (downhill). Trivial point I know but for a couple of OAP's it was a challenge. The information sheet in the apartment did say that if we had a problem with the allocated parking slot we could use a guest slot, which was "almost" level, so we did. After a tiring day out it is nice to chillax in front of the box. We did not come to Devon for TV but the poor quality offered in the apartment just seemed a bit out of step with everything else.
