Perched on a wooded ridge top, this spacious, Amish built cabin is the ideal place to sit back and relax. Named for it's dark log-like exterior and green roof, Lincolnwood Cabin has shared hiking trails on the property that circle around to the hilltop, and wind down to a small creek, the scenery is sure to inspire.
This cabin is also at the epicenter of the Hocking Hills region and all that it has to offer!

Location was excellent, close to downtown Nelsonville and Hocking Hills Ash Cave which we hiked. Nice fenced in area for our dog. Rained heavy one of the days, spent a lot of time in the cabin and found the couch and non-reclining recliner uncomfortable. Also the cabin had a very musty odor that lingered on our clothes when traveling back home. Otherwise decent stay in a beautiful area.

Need a new toaster all setting burnt toast. I scrapped the burnt off. Maybe more info on hot spot needs to be flashing blue and the window it needs to be in, volume buttons are on the side of the Roku, for people like me, when it just doesn’t click in my head lol. Beds very comfortable!

This was my fourth time staying at Lincolnwood. It is always clean and the hosts are very friendly and have responded quickly any time I have had any questions for them. It is very peaceful and relaxing and a great cabin for the dogs too!

The cabin overall is very cute and spacious.One thing to note is to get to the cabin. You do have to go up a pretty steep incline so making sure you have a car with 4 x 4 in my opinion is imperative, especially if it were to rain it could be tricky.A couple of things I guess we didn’t expect when we first arrived. The hot tub is pretty old/outdated and I felt like could’ve been a lot cleaner than it was.To get into the hot tub you literally have to climb up cinder concrete blocks vs. stairs. The directions were not very clear and because the hot tub is old to the buttons did not work and we ended up having to call the owner to come out and help us with the hot tub.Another thing that was a little bit frustrating was when we checked in the bathroom must have had a quick cleaning as the bath mat outside the shower was soaking wet, and there was mold on the shower curtain, which was again handled once we called the owner.The refrigerator can use a good cleaning too. The king bed in bedroom needs to be replaced and the recliner in the living room is broke.Unfortunately, I have never had issues renting, and not having expectations met when we vacation. This was disappointing, even though the owner was very receptive and kind, but in my opinion, you should not have to make phone calls things should be taken care of.
