I loved the location. Perfect. Close to everything but quiet. Novi was a dream! So funny and helpful. Very kind

Unfortunately I was there in rainy reason and as the property had loads of gaps at it was bamboo the wind made the property noisy. But this is Bali style. Also there was no sun at the bungalow but I went and lay by the pool so easy solution.

Peaceful, private and beautiful bamboo bungalows

Lovely little bungalows tucked away of the street. So close to the beach and easy walking to heaps of restaurants and bars. Clean, peaceful and private. Love the porch swing and coconut on arrival! Novie is an exceptional host! So full of joy and offered to do so much for us. She gives the place such a great energy. Thank you, we'll be back!

Amazing place with great staff.

What a place. My favourite so far. Novi is an absolute ANGEL in being helpful in both booking activities and transport. The room was lovely, smelt nice and loads and loads of filtered water available. Loved the outside bathroom area and shower, super close to the beach and vibes.

Lovely stay close to everything

The place is very pretty and intimate. You have everything you might need for your stay, with beach 2 mins walk away and all sorts of shops and restaurants at another 2 mins. And the recommendations from Novi as well as her support are priceless.

It is a bit hard to keep the place chilled as the walls are very thin and AC air goes away easy. It also can feel a bit noisy at times due to neighbors and also the street gets busy at times with scooters.

An enjoyable authentic experience with a warm and welcoming host

It was a good location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Novi was extremely friendly and welcoming- we loved the welcome coconut drink! Novi was also super responsive and helpful over WhatsApp with any queries and help needed with booking onward transport. It was an experience to stay with the outdoor bathroom.

We were nervous about being bitten and the gecko noises but appreciate this can’t be helped!

Bliss!

I loved everything about my stay at Bamboo Bungalows! Novi was an amazing host, she always responded promptly and with kindness to any of my random questions via WhatsApp. The Bungalow is self was beautiful, very cute, clean & comfortable. I felt like I had the privacy and quietness I wanted whilst being only a few steps away from the main strip & beachfront. Everything you need is within walking distance. My favourite places included “Let’s Bake” & “The Beach Shack” - there is also a lovely fine dining place right next door that serves beautiful food. The bathroom was also amazing, no concerns regards unwanted insects even though it was outside. This was my favourite stay during my trip. I would recommend to everyone & would absolutely return - for longer next time I hope!! Thank you Novi for your hospitality and the beautiful stay.

Home away from home

I’ve stayed here several times in the last few years, Novi and the team are so welcoming and make my stay very easy and comfortable. The bed and bedding are great quality and there’s always hot water, hot and cold drinking water, and basically all the things you need for a few nights stay - hanging space, mirrors, hammock…

The toiletries/shampoo etc could have an upgrade when you compare to some similar price locations

Great location but a bit more basic than I thought.

Novi was a super host and unbelievably helpful to us with booking trips, scooters and taxis! The location was brilliant, right beside great restaurants and beach bars and we were able to walk to most of these places! The beds are big, comfortable and clean.

There is air conditioning but some of it escapes through the gaps in the doors and between the roof and the windows. The noise during the night and in the morning was quite loud and the pool is shared with another set of bungalows which requires more upkeep.

Great location and super cute Bungalows but the stand out was the service from the host and reception staff. Great communication and always incredibly helpful and accommodating with the best energy and most beautiful smile and laughter.

The most relaxing stay

Bamboo Bungalows was unreal! The location was amazing, very close to the beach. The bungalows its self were a 10/10. Novi our host really went above and beyond, she was the most Welcoming, helpful and beautiful person. She made us feel like family! Novi you are truly amazing and make our stay even better, we will 100% be rebooking with Bamboo Bungalows. Was truly a experience we are going to remember ❤️

Beautiful property, large spacious with separate outside shower and toilet. The host Novie was incredibly friendly and responsive on WhatsApp and in person, and the welcome pack was a really nice touch

Great atmosphere, lovely stay.

The bungalows have a great atmosphere. We loved hanging out on the terrace in the evenings. The amenities in the room were really good. Coffee, tea, water and mosquito spray. Staff is super helpful. Novie brings a smile to everyone’s face!

The Bamboo Bungalows are in a great location, a super short walk to the beach and in the village area with lots of shops and places to eat. The Bungalow itself was super cute and really comfortable. They have thought of everything to make it a pleasant stay. The privacy was also really lovely. Novie could not have been more helpful providing us with recommendations and helping arranging transport. She is so friendly and a great assist to the place. Extra trip: Warung Little Prema and Dapur Kecil were fantastic for traditional indo food. Our favourite of the trip so far!

Great stay with an amazing host!!

Novi was the best host!! She helped with everything we needed and was so kind and funny. The bungalow was very clean and looked after. Also the location is also perfect especially if you arrive with Arthamas. It was also lovely to be greeted with a cold coconut and Novis big smile!!!

Not so much a dislike but just to note that the dogs are very noisy through the night and I think a birds nest on the roof that started making noises in the morning haha- but if your not a light sleeper you will be fine! Also as it is made of bamboo of course there are gaps so mossies do get in but they provide a bug spray and mossie net around the bed which really helps.

Don’t look further- this is your next booking!

This place is heaven on earth, with the most amazing people working there. The bungalow is very spacious, the bathroom outside is just lovely, and a little garden gives you a lot of privacy. 2 min to the beach, 2 min to great restaurants around! I had an accident and Novi has taken such a great care of me, drove me to the clinic and stayed for hours until I was done. She’s literally an angel. Organized me all the transportations, ensured I was safe and taken care of. I would come back only for her. Thank you again for the stay, I never felt so safe.

Quaint but comfortable bungalow experience.

Novi was a great host and her communication was prompt and friendly. There was a large bottled water system that provided cold and boiling water on demand in our room which reduced our use of single plastic bottles. We also had a mini bar fridge. The large outdoor bathroom was a great experience. There was a swing, hammock and comfortable cushions on the patio which were great for relaxing.

I have no complaints about our experience at BB.

Amazing stay and an even more amazing host!

One of the best things about Bamboo Bungalows is the incredible host, Novi. From the moment we met, she went above and beyond to make my stay special—greeting me with her warm personality and fresh coconuts and always being just a text away whenever I had questions. When I wanted to book a trip to Nusa Penida, she organised everything seamlessly. On the day I checked out to move to another hotel nearby, she even kindly transferred my bag for me, knowing I had snorkeling plans and would have struggled to carry it through the muddy paths after heavy rain. The accommodation itself was wonderful—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. I really appreciated the little touches, like the water cooler for refilling my bottle and the bottled water in the bathroom for brushing my teeth. The room also had a mini fridge, a hair dryer, and bug spray if needed. The location was great too, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops.

Beautiful little home away from home

The staff are so beautiful and accomodating, it’s a cute little stay with beautiful gardens and a nice outdoor shower, it’s a short walk onto the beach and street and is also on the main strip along the beach making food options plentiful!! We also found day trips to include hotel pick up which worked really well!! We also got a welcome coconut which was such a beautiful touch

My partner didn’t mind but I tend to attract mosquitos and found myself getting bitten heaps due to the roof not fully connecting and the shower being outdoors, but bug spray did the trick and the bed also had a mosquito net that led to less bites. My partner loved the place, he doesn’t get bitten though hahaha. It is a true bamboo bungalow so you will get bugs!!

Incredible would return!

We liked how there was free filtered water, air conditioning and internet. The location of the bungalows in relation to breakfast spots and activities. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Lots of privacy and nice and quiet.

Cute stay right by the beach

It’s a great place to stay at Jungutbatu area. The host was very sweet, welcoming and super helpful, and her bubbly personality is nice to be around. The bungalow was a great size for two people, I really liked the outdoor bathroom area and very stylish front side and little private garden. The location is amazing, it’s right next to the beach, also close to diving shops and speed boat office. Also there are plenty restaurants, coffee shops around. Very convenient to get around.

The only thing that bothered me was the fact that there was noise from the road. We had bungalow number one located just next to the road, and you can hear all the bikes that drive by. Doting the day it’s ok, but in the evening and night was hard to sleep for me, as I’m a quiet sleeper and these sounds easily wake me up. Other than this, everything else was good:)

Perfect place to discover Nusa Lembongan

Everything was perfect, the place is located right next to the beach with an amazing sunset, and near the main road. It is very clean and well decorated. The host Novi was super kind, friendly and helpful! She booked a snorkeling activity for us and it was perfect. She also helped us book a scooter. We will come back for sure!

Unique property in a tranquil setting on a gorgeous tropical island. It was like a postcard.

Extremely easy. The host Novie was there right at my check in time ready to get me into the room. The bungalow was clean and quiet. I could even hear the ocean at night. It was a short walk to some great food and bars. Also easy parking for my motorbike at the front of my bungalow which Novie organised for me. Inside the bungalow itself was a gorgeous private garden with a hammock. I loved showering in the outdoor bathroom as well, it had a real island vibe. I can't recommend this place enough to anyone wanting a very reasonably priced stay in a one of a kind bungalow.
