João, the studio's host, was fabulous. He was prompt in meeting me when I arrived and not only explained all of the features of the apartment thoroughly but also gave me information about Porto. The property also was within comfortable walking distance of the Ribiera, Gaia, and São Bento, as well as a five minute walk from the train station.
The bathroom sink drained very slowly. The room itself had no windows and only a small ventilation fan and smelled musty, an odor that got increasingly worse each time I took a shower. A bath mat that didn't dry contributed to the odor, which after three nights bordered on the smell of sewage.

location is very close to metro, bus, train - very convenient
apartments is small, very noisy 24h (2 very busy streets with heavy traffic), to stay at roof-top apartment is not a good idea, apartment full of thousands of small ants - terrible
