About this lodge
Skyline Loft at Tamarron Resort (Lodge #511) is our loft unit with full kitchen and bath, conveniently located near the resort amenities including golf course, heated pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions. Wifi speeds are 100+ mbps.
This loft has a great view of the golf course! There is a queen bed on the main level and another queen bed in the loft. The kitchenette has been totally remodeled to include a full-size fridge, two stove top burners, microwave, toaster oven and coffee pot - new cabinetry and granite countertops.

* Loft - Queen Bed (2nd Floor)
ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge. There is a $20 per person ski shuttle to purgatory on weekends - tickets must be purchased in advance and the pick-up location is in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot.
LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

the only issue is the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. ac off when we arrived and loft was very hot all weekend. other than that it was good

The property was located in a beautiful part of the mountain with some amazing views. I’d give it a 5 but the refrigerator was not working. The maintenance guy did bring a small dorm fridge after proving to him that the current fridge was not working, which took a few hours on one of our mornings. The pools were nice and the goof course looked like fun if you’re a golfer.

The place itself wasn't bad, as far as location, cleanliness and fairly updated carpet and bathroom. However, it was extremely dark and not well appointed. If the owner would add some new (possibly LED) lights that would make a big difference. In addition, the purchase of some better kitchen supplies (plates, silverware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, bowls, etc.) it would really make a difference. Both of these suggestions would be a relatively minor expense and yet could make the stay there much more comfortable.
