It’s a beautiful area with birds and wild turkeys running around. It was quiet and clean and exceeded my expectations.

We had a very pleasant experience overall. I had somehow made an error during my booking (selecting the wrong year for whatever reason) but the owner approached me proactively, clarified it and guided me on how to correct it - and even offered me a free upgrade since the original room i had booked was taken (thanks again!). Another highlight is that it's really in nature with a bunch of turkeys roaming around the house. It's also quite social so one easily gets into talks with other guests.

Amazing place to stay. A very comfortable room in a large house decorated as a ranch house with many amenities including a hot tub, full size guest refrigerator, three siting areas, one with a TV, and a large yard where we saw many birds including several wild turkeys. Our host, Walter, was very friendly, helpful, and informative.
A minor issue, but a 20-30 minute drive to Durango.
