Peaceful Ranch Cabin, 3 Mi to Becker Lake!

We enjoyed the seclusion and many surrounding areas for birding, hiking, fishing, and peaceful escape from the hustle of our busy lives. It's very private in the area, both towns are super close for convenience if you need anything. Lots of dishes available for cooking, super cozy and just overall a wonderful place to unplug from everything! Be sure to bring downloaded movies and an adapter to connect for watching movies if you don't use the satellite TV. No wifi but we had data most of the time, so if wifi and staying connected is extremely important consider getting Hotspot of you don't have it! I didn't care as I wanted an escape! Kid friendly but if their into gaming and devices make sure you have those things downloaded. Not an issue for us as my youngest is 16 and also enjoyed unplugging! Brought the pets, they're pet friendly and the back run area was perfect for my babies when we weren't hiking! Trails right by the river! So many amazing outdoor activities!

There wasn't anything I didn't like, the cabin was spacious and accommodating.

The locattion. The beauty. The helpfulness of the host. The host's debrief regarding fun places to see and go in the area.

Outdoer seating could be better, maybe some camping chairs. rather than folding card-table chairs would add additional comfort.

The scenic views of the property and preserve were absolutely breathtaking. The cabin was very cosy and spacious. Plenty of room for our party of eight to stay in. The hostess was very kind and attentive. She was wonderful at checking in with us to make sure everything was well and offering things to do and see around the preserve and in town. Having a full kitchen was amazing instead of going into town for all of our meals. The drive into town was short and easy.

Our stay was too short. Next time we’ll have to stay in august when everything in the fields are greener from the rains.

All of it
