Nestled on Rua Dom Afonso 147, just a 9-minute stroll from the vibrant Central Beach, this 4-star boutique property (with 36 cozy rooms spread across 1,700 square meters) feels like a serene oasis amid the buzz of Santa Catarina’s playground. Born from the dreams of a globetrotting couple who met in the chaos of Mexico City, Rizzu Marina opened its doors relatively recently, and it shows: everything from the contemporary decor to the impeccable service screams fresh innovation without sacrificing soul. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me like an old friend—attentive, warm, and genuinely excited to share their slice of paradise. Check-in was a breeze at the spacious reception, where sleek lines and natural wood accents set a relaxed yet upscale tone. My room (a pool-view deluxe) was a haven of tranquility: crisp white linens, a massive flat-screen TV, plush air-conditioning, and a rainfall shower that could rival a spa. Free WiFi was lightning-fast, essential for those late-night trip planning sessions, and little touches like high-thread-count towels and locally sourced bath amenities made it feel personal. No detail was overlooked, from the blackout curtains perfect for midday siestas to the mini-fridge stocked with regional treats. But let’s talk about the stars of the show: the outdoor facilities. The infinity-edge pool, flanked by a lush garden with direct views of the serene Camboriú River, was my daily ritual—crystal-clear water, adult and kid sections, and enough loungers to claim your spot without the towel wars common at busier resorts.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The location was near the beach and good restaurants. The pool area and gardens were lovely.

Clean, good value for money

I found it odd that they didn’t allow mangootin in the property. When I asked for plate and cutlery to the rooms they said they don’t have them lol. Restaurant closes really early and no food options near by.
