Castle Margherita's Apartments

Super price, super location, Margherita was very nice and accomodating. She sent us a video with instructions on how to get to the apartment, where there were fruits, snacks, water and many other amenities waiting for us! (Even big bottles of body wash and shampoo in both bathrooms, plus more beauty amenities) Whenever we had any issues she answered to the messages very quickly and even let us have a late check out on the day of our departure. We truly only have nice things to say about her.

The apartment was located in the Castle Harbour apartment complex, so we only really had to do with people from there, who were often unfriendly to say the least. We didn't really feel welcome, which wasn't very nice. Also, we were very disappointed when we entered our apartment and saw what it looks like, since it had nothing to do with the photos. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, the photos just make it look A LOT fancier, than it is, which does feel like a scam...

The area was really nice and peaceful. Perfect for families or chill holiday plans.

The apartment had no air conditioning. It had a ceiling fan which didn’t keep the room cold at night.

Everything was perfect! Federico and Margherita were so nice with us

Pillows, it was too soft

Property was clean and functional with some little extras provided. It was good to have own washing machine. Pool did not become too busy and sun beds were always available. Bed was comfy and we slept well.

It is not made clear on listing that Margherita's apartments are in more than one location and on arrival we were provided with a studio apartment in Castle Harbor, a location some distance away from the location provided on listing and not as close to facilities. Castle Harbor is also up a rather steep hill which could cause difficulty to some. It also caused confusion as I booked my transfer through booking.com and the driver quite rightly started to head to the address on the listing. In addition I had booked a one bedroom with sea view and was allocated a much smaller studio with pool view. The listing needs to be more transparent with two separate listings by Marghareta so it is clear exactly where you are located. From reading reviews this is not an isolated incident. Location is extremely important to us when booking and so also is the need for additional space. Had I known of the location and size at the time of booking I would not have chosen here. When contacted Margherita blamed booking.com for translation difficulties so I would be obliged if someone would take responsibility and contact me as we have been completely misled and the information on listing is inaccurate.
