Salitre by ELE Apartments

Centraal gelegen, vlak bij het treinstation en een kwartier lopen naar het oude centrum. Mooi ruim en schoon appartement. Alle faciliteiten waren aanwezig. Kinderbedje stond opgemaakt klaar bij aankomst, super.

Easy walk to train station, clean , bright and well furnished. Even had a little cleaning pack with washing up liquid and washing pod which was great

Third stay in this apartment and perfect for us as adult family of 3. Dad is wheelchair user so the fact there is wheelchair lift to main lift is a massive bonus as was walk-in shower. Perfect location for public transport with train station 2 mins (which has Mercadona supermarket) and bus stop across the road. Buying Bonobus card from Tabbachi meant only 50 cents per journey! Apartment is tastefully decorated and well equipped Lastly special thanks to team at Ele apartments who responded instantly to any queries I had, offered assistance and booked our taxis. Breakfast tip is Tjeringos in Calle Quarteles.

Only very minor thing but would have een useful if thetlre was a small plastic chair somewhete that Dad could have taken to shower to sit on. As it was, he was able to stand for a couple of minutes holding onto wall handrail

Liked the spaciousness of apartment & location of same as within walking distance of historic centre/old town/harbour area & very near bus and train station

Didn't like the fact that no basics like water, tea/coffee, washing machine tablets were available on arrival, considering the rental of apartment wasn't cheap. Couch was old & rickety, and crisps/crumbs underneath cushions so therefore not cleaned. It could really do with replacement. The one armchair that was available was also unusable as legs were broken. Smell of sewer from bathroom at all times, had to put shower in a position and hoped it wouldn't fall off whilst we were showering, drainage very poor in shower and it also leaked out onto floor. Fan in bathroom not working. Bathroom could also do with a revamp especially the shower area. Bedrooms were the best, bed was comfortable, rooms were spacious though very bare.
