About this villa rental
The property was completely rebuilt and furnished, it will be completed in spring 2020 and temporarily offered at an introductory price.

Wonderful relaxation in an oasis of calm or happy partying in a wonderful place ... Villa Emma offers both and more and is ideal for families and groups.
Villa Emma is in a secluded location and yet only 1 km from the nearest village with good shopping and a typical Italian bar. The next freeway entrance is only about 12 kilometers away, the famous white beaches can be reached in about 15 minutes by car, the cliffs in Castiglioncello - which are not just for snorkeling - can be reached in about the same time. Pisa with its famous leaning tower and the nearest airport is about 50 kilometers away.
Villa Emma is a former mill that was built from scratch in the old style. We have taken great care to ensure that the charm of the old mill is preserved and that Villa Emma also offers all the modern amenities you could want on vacation. Among other things, the mill has an open kitchen with island, a dining room with a large table where everyone can comfortably sit and a living room with a fireplace and TV.
The villa offers 6 individual, lovingly furnished, spacious double rooms, each with its own bathroom and a guest toilet including shower.
In your own 10 x 5 meter private pool you can swim, play, cool off to your heart's content. In addition, the pool offers a relaxation zone of 6 x 2.20 meters, in whose 25cm deep water you can relax wonderfully in the cool water.
A small bathing island, surrounded by water on three sides, also invites you to relax. There are sun loungers and parasols in the pool area and if you want to have your own space, you can simply retreat to the olive grove and relax in the gentle shade in a hammock body and soul.
Florence, with its cultural treasures and the nearest airport, is about 100 kilometers away, as is Siena.
Lucca can be reached in around 1 hour by car, San Gimignano is around 60 km and Volterra around 46 km.
Andrea Bocelli offers concerts in the Teatro del Silenzio nearby, and the famous cypress avenue of Bolgheri in one of the world's best wine-growing regions can also be reached in about 35 kilometers.
Towels can be requested for a fee of € 15 per person per stay. Bed linen can be provided for a fee of € 15 per person per stay.

Mit der Villa Emma haben wir einen echten Glücksgriff gelandet. Das Haus ist komplett neu, hochwertig eingerichtet und top ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber Sabine und Klaus sind sehr herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit, außerdem in der Region gut vernetzt. Wir haben von Ihnen sehr nützliche Tipps zur Erkundung der Umgebung erhalten. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen.

Wir waren in der Vergangenheit schon häufig in italienischen Ferienhäusern unterwegs - entweder wir 2 alleine oder wie diesmal mit Freunden. Aber so freundlich und unkompliziert und umgänglich wie in Pomaio sind wir noch nirgends empfangen worden. Und das lag nicht nur an den sehr schnell festgestellten gemeinsamen schwäbischen Wurzeln! Die "Einführungsstunde" in der Bar Circolo di Pomaio mit den wundervollen Gastgebern Sabine und Klaus erhöhte noch die Vorfreude auf eine wunderbare Urlaubswoche. Und wir sollten nicht enttäuscht werden: die Villa Emma, einerseits innen mit ihren geschmackvollen Themen-Zimmern mit zugeordneten Ensuite-Bädern, andererseits mit dem großzügigen Außenbereich mit Terrasse, Pool, Olivenhain nebst Hängematten sowie soeben fertiggestellter Sommerküche mit Grill, Kühlschrank und Gläsern, bot alles für einen überaus relaxten Urlaub, auf den etwas ältere Herrschaften schon mal angewiesen sind; nicht zu vergessen die sehr gut konzipierte und ausgestattete Küche! Auf dieser "Insel" kann man schon mal einen ganzen Tag mit gepflegtem Nichtstun verbringen. Trotzdem wagten wir uns auch nach draußen: Pisa, Lucca, Volterra und Bolgheri waren ideal für Tages- oder Halbtagesfahrten und sprechen auch in dieser Hinsicht für eine ideale Lage der Villa Emma. Aber auch die Nähe haben wir erforscht: den Ort Pomaia mit der besagten Bar und kleinen Geschäften für den täglichen Bedarf, die Essenskultur im Il Molincaccio und im La Pieve (vielen Dank Sabine und Klaus für die Organisation!), die Trinkkultur vom Weingut Sator und das Istituto Lama. Vielen Dank Sabine und Klaus, dass wir diese Woche in der Villa Emma verbringen durften. Aber jetzt genug des Lobes: wir wollen uns davon noch etwas aufbewahren, für das nächste Jahr! Einfach eine wunderschöne Zeit vom ersten Augenblick.
Wir haben als Familie 14 wunderschöne Tage bei bestem Wetter in der absolut traumhaften Ferienvilla Emma verbringen dürfen. Hier wurde von den Vermietern Klaus und Sabine mit viel Liebe zum Detail ein Paradies mitten in der Natur geschaffen. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Sauberkeit der Villa und des Pools und die Qualität der Ausstattung. Die Betreuung durch die Vermieter ist einfach Spitze! Man bekommt sehr viel nützliche Tipps für Ausflugsziele in der Toskana. Nebenbei wurde auch bei Reservierungen für Restaurants geholfen.
Fazit: Es ist mit Abstand das beste Ferienhaus (Villa!) in dem wir unseren Urlaub verbracht haben. Vielen Dank an Sabine und Klaus und bis bald Villa Emma!!
