North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.

Mid-City opens up in ways that surprise first-time visitors - oak-lined streets, a neighborhood that hums between Mardi Gras parades and lazy Sunday afternoons, and a pace that pulls you in before you know it. This four-bedroom condo puts you right in the middle of it, with room for eight guests, a community pool outside, and a private balcony where mornings start on your own terms.
Living space
Natural light moves through the main living areas throughout the day, giving the shared spaces a warm, open feel. The layout flows easily between living and dining zones, with enough room for a group of eight to spread out without feeling crowded. A dedicated workspace with a private door is available for anyone who needs to log on between outings.
Sleeping arrangements
Four bedrooms each come furnished with a plush bed, quality linens, and a Smart TV for unwinding after a full day in the city. Room-darkening shades, a safe, and walk-in closet or closet storage are available in each room. Three full bathrooms - complete with bathtubs, hair dryers, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel - mean no one is waiting long to get ready.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is well-equipped for everything from a quick breakfast to a proper sit-down dinner. Appliances include a Frigidaire refrigerator, Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, Frigidaire single oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a Keurig coffee maker. Cooking basics, baking sheets, wine glasses, dishes, silverware, and a toaster round out the setup. A dining table gives the group a central place to gather, and the private balcony is just steps away when you'd rather have your coffee outside.
Outdoor & extras
The shared backyard connects to the community pool, available year-round and heated from October through February. Pool toys are on hand, and the patio area includes outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill for an evening in. Free parking is available on premises, with additional street parking nearby.
Entertainment & family
A pool table adds an indoor activity option when you're between outings. A pack 'n play with sheets and a folding high chair - both available upon request - make the space workable for families with young children, and babysitter recommendations are available if needed.
Getting around
The Canal Streetcar line is a short walk away, giving you a direct route toward the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and Frenchmen Street without the need to drive. The Endymion parade route is steps from the front door - a genuine advantage during Mardi Gras season. Trader Joe's, the Lafitte Greenway bike path, and major hospitals are all within easy reach.

The unit features central air conditioning, central heating, and ceiling fans throughout. In-unit washer and dryer, an iron, hangers, and clothing storage are all available. Security features include exterior Ring cameras, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. Self check-in via smart lock and an Ethernet connection are also provided. Long-term stays of 28 days or more are welcome.

This was my second time staying at this property at it was a absolutely amazing stay. The 2 issues we had were IMMEDIATELY corrected and our stay was nothing less than 5 stars. Very safe environment and perfectly located. Highly recommend.

My group of eight enjoyed our stay. We were in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl and were close enough to walk back from the Superdome. The property is also a short Uber ride to the French Quarter and Garden District.
There's room to park two cars behind the house, which was much preferable to street parking.
We found that we had to space out our showers in order for everybody to have hot water, so larger groups should keep that in mind. Also worth noting is that there's no closet in the master bedroom.
Communication with the property manager was excellent, and we received prompt responses to a couple of questions that we had.
Overall we liked the property and would consider staying again due to cleanliness and location.

This home was absolutely perfect! Very spacious, beautifully decorated and well maintained. It had everything we needed, plenty of bedroom and bathroom space and a whole lot of tranquilty. It's conveniently located to many restaurants and attractions around New Orleans. It was perfect, clean, cozy and spacious for everyone. This space exceeded our expectations and we didn't want to leave the home. Sedrick is an amazing host and we look forward to staying here again.
