North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.

The space
Set on a single level with no stairs, the home opens into a comfortable living area where the full group of up to eight can relax and come together. Room-darkening shades and ceiling fans keep the atmosphere cool and restful, while a dedicated workspace behind a closed door offers a quiet, private corner for anyone who needs to catch up on work. A private entrance from the street adds convenience from the moment you arrive.
Sleeping arrangements
Each of the four bedrooms is fitted with a bed, quality linens, and a TV with standard cable for private downtime at the end of the day. Walk-in closets and additional clothing storage throughout mean everyone has room to properly unpack and settle in - whether you're visiting for a long weekend or an extended stay. Three full bathrooms, each with a bathtub, hair dryer, and complete bath essentials, keep the morning routine running smoothly for the whole group.
Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen is set up to make cooking in genuinely easy. Appliances include a Frigidaire refrigerator, Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, Frigidaire single oven, microwave, and dishwasher. A Keurig coffee machine, coffee, cooking basics, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, a toaster, a baking sheet, and a dining table are all provided - everything the group needs for a shared meal or a relaxed breakfast before heading out.
Outdoor living & entertainment
The shared backyard is home to a year-round outdoor pool - heated, open 24 hours, and stocked with pool toys for all ages. Outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill make the patio a natural spot for grilling and unwinding between days of exploring. Back inside, a pool table offers an easy option for evenings in. Free parking is available on the premises, with additional street parking close by.
Staying comfortable
Wi-Fi, an Ethernet connection, central air conditioning, central heating, and an in-unit washer and dryer handle the practical side of staying comfortable. A safe, iron, and hangers round out the day-to-day details. Families with young children can request a pack 'n play, folding high chair, and babysitter recommendations upon arrival. The property includes exterior security cameras, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit for added peace of mind. This was my second time staying at this property at it was a absolutely amazing stay. The 2 issues we had were IMMEDIATELY corrected and our stay was nothing less than 5 stars. Very safe environment and perfectly located. Highly recommend.

My group of eight enjoyed our stay. We were in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl and were close enough to walk back from the Superdome. The property is also a short Uber ride to the French Quarter and Garden District.
There's room to park two cars behind the house, which was much preferable to street parking.
We found that we had to space out our showers in order for everybody to have hot water, so larger groups should keep that in mind. Also worth noting is that there's no closet in the master bedroom.
Communication with the property manager was excellent, and we received prompt responses to a couple of questions that we had.
Overall we liked the property and would consider staying again due to cleanliness and location.

This home was absolutely perfect! Very spacious, beautifully decorated and well maintained. It had everything we needed, plenty of bedroom and bathroom space and a whole lot of tranquilty. It's conveniently located to many restaurants and attractions around New Orleans. It was perfect, clean, cozy and spacious for everyone. This space exceeded our expectations and we didn't want to leave the home. Sedrick is an amazing host and we look forward to staying here again.
