North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.

This house was perfect for our group of 10! Exactly as pictured, very comfortable, and great outdoor space as well. The driveway is very narrow, but we were able to park 4 cars, carefully, as we arrived, and left the biggest vehicle on the street in front of the house, and just used that vehicle to get around. Management was great to work with us after checking out in retrieving an item left behind. Great experience!

The property was just like it was listed. We really enjoyed the stay. I was skeptical about the neighborhood before getting there but everything was good. Neighborhood was quiet.Would rent again.

Fabulous house, not in prime location, had no problems with house. Parking another story could not fit either vehicle down the driveway, too narrow. Had to park on the street. We had an excellent time on our trip, Uber very convenient

This is a beautiful, well furnished home with lots of character! We were only there for one night before our cruise but we'd love to come back sometime!
