Skiing holidays during Christmas week

Well furnished clean 4-person appartments in the southern part of the village (easy exit to B23to Garmisch), yet associated to the hotel AltePost and its restaurant, one of the few open during Christmas days (24-25-26.12) when tourists are a bit left on their own in very Catholic Bayern. Floor heating, plenty of hot water, well equipped kitchen, robust WiFi. Staff (at the hotel & restaurant) were very helpful and friendly.

No common room ( we were 3 families and it was tough to meet all in a kitchen for four - but we were aware of this when booking, there were no other options for large groups). Waste disposal is tricky (when doors to trash cans freeze overnight) and it’s still unclear for me whether the brown trash can is for food rests (biomüll) as initially labeled or for glass as lately labeled… There ARE busses going to Garmisch, but not straight to the skiing slopes, so relying on public transport for skiing is way too time-consuming. The car is a must… so are the traffic jams

Family size apartment perfect for short to medium stays.

Excellently equiped place with everything you need for a short to medium stay. Very bright, but blineds can do the trick if you prefer darkness.

No airconditioning might be an issue when iz gets worm, but we had no issues as the weather was perfect. For longer stay, washing machine should be installed.

Very clean and quiet accommodation - convenient for the Passion Play

We were there for the Passion Play so accommodation was at a premium, so we were lucky to find this place. It's a bit of a walk out of the centre, but much better than being out of town. Lidl is not far away. Very clean. Had own parking place.

Cooking facilities were minimal in the flat, so don't come with ambitions to cook a meal!

Generally speaking it was a very good apartment. We really enjoyed it.

When we arrived the apartment was cold. The first day when we tried to take a bath the bathtub got clogged and we had to unclog it.

Schöner Familienurlaub in Oberammergau

Schlüsselübergabe im Hotel Alte Post war problemlos und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Wohnung liegt schön ruhig und bietet tollen Bergblick. Das Zentrum ist mit dem Fahrrad in 5 Minuten erreichbar, zu Fuß in ca. 15 Minuten. Es war sauber und modern eingerichtet.

Wir hatten in der Beschreibung und auf den Fotos leider nicht beachtet, dass die Wohnung kein Wohnzimmer/Sofa hat. Leider ließ sich die Eingangstür von innen nicht abschließen (von außen per Schlüsselkarte zu öffnen). Das war mit einem Kleinkind, welches die Türklinke bereits erreichen kann, etwas problematisch. Ein Staubsauger statt Besen wäre schön gewesen.

Ich war zufrieden mit der Wahl

Das Haus mit der FeWo lag direkt an einer Bushaltestelle, so dass ich auf den PKW weitgehend verzichten konnte

Im Wohnbereich mit Küchenzeile gab es nur einen Esstisch mit vier Stühlen, es fehlte eine bequeme Sitzgelegenheit

Ferienwohnung Preisinger war schön.

Die Wohnung liegt am Ortseingang, der Ortskern ist in 15 bis 20 Minuten zu Fuss mit Kindern erreichbar. Die Möbel sind qualitativ gut, chic und bequem. Die Küche ist mit Wasserkocher, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine ausgestattet., Das Bad ist mit Dusche, WC, Waschbecken, elektrischem Heizkörper, Reisefön, Toilettenpapier und Spiegel ausgestattet. Ein Parkplatz befindet sich direkt vor dem Haus. Haustür wird mit Schlüsselkarte bedient. Mülltonnen befinden sich seitlich vom Haus. Wünsche wurden umgehend erfüllt. Kontakt per Email war super.

Es gibt nur eine kleine "Terasse" mit einem Tisch und zwei Stühlen. Es gibt keinen Backofen in der Küche, aber das ist ja bekannt. Im Bad fehlt mir ein Regal für die Kosmetiktasche, als Ablage. Ein Wäscheständer wäre super mit Klammern. In der Küche fehlten mir kleine Salat/Kompottschalen. Küchenrolle, ein paar Müllbeutel, wenn man wie wir eine Woche bleibt.

Ständiger Abflussgeruch im Raum mit Dusche & Toilette (Boden) Im Raum der Dusche klebten an den Wänden viele tote Tiere Kühlschrank schließt nicht richtig - Lebensmittel in Tür nicht kalt oder schnell schlecht Tür vom Schrank über Abzugshaube kaputt Lüftung in Raum mit Dusche funktionierte nicht und leuchtete rot - das war nicht zu übersehen und hätte beseitigt werden müssen. Wir haben dann die Filter selbst mal ausgeschüttelt (mein Mann ist vom Fach) Biomülltonne fehlt
