Castel Capuano Flat By DomusExtra

Very nice apartment. Will return there when in Naples again.

Wifi signal bit weak sometimes far from the modem.

Everything you would want for your stay in Naples. Very good facilities, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. A very efficient air conditioning kept us all comfortable. Giovanni was very helpful accessing the apartment.

The apartment is on the third floor. The steps are challenging if you’re elderly or have mobility issues. Help would be necessary with baggage on entry.

Jeanette greeted us, she was very friendly and helpful giving us help and directions. The location of the flat was very practical, it was just at the end of the historical center. 10 min from the underground and easy to reach with the bus. The apartment has a lot of space to accommodate a family.

The mattress for the double bed was very soft, I was sinking in it. The same was happening to the sofa-bed in the kitchen. I have booked this apartment because there were 2 separate rooms available, but the second room had only a single bed available (this one with a good mattress), not possible to accommodate both children, so we had to use the living room as a bedroom, which eventually did not provide any common space.

Our host, Jeanette was great. 10/10. Very responsive and helpful. Left us a lot of food as well, which was much apprecited. Generally the flat is ok, refurbished. Air-con everywhere which was crucial in surviving the heat.

The flat is in pretty shady neighbourhood. Don't get fooled by the Old Town location. It's a not a short walk to any major attractions + not hugely close to any metro stations (15min walk the nearest). The flat is on 4th floor in fairly sketchy back street. Old Town is generally dirty and rather unpleasant. Beds were pretty terrible. Old mattresses. Bathroom (especially shower) needs work.
