Beautiful property that was clean, comfortable and welcoming.

There’s nothing to not like.

This lovely cottage was in an excellent position for me and my sister to drive 2hrs each.. to meet in the middle...to have sister time together in lovely, VERY clean accommodation! The cottage was BEAUTIFULLY equipped...it seemed that everything one needed was there! The TWO bathrooms had The White Company and/ or Milton Brown products for our use and there was even MB hand cream around too! Everything was quality....from the kitchenware to the beautiful curtains and towels etc! It was a little more remote than we had envisioned BUT we found there was a supermarket nearby... not that we needed it for the couple of days we were there... but it was good to know it was handy! The local pub (The Black Bull) only serves food on a Sunday...at the moment anyway...so we found The Fox and Hounds...1.2 miles down the road...and is was really good! Great ambience and well priced quality food and drink! We requested a late check out and Louise ( owner) kindly agreed to an 11am check out! We knew that Louise was around IF we had wanted help but she wasn't seen apart from check in! The cottage sleeps four! Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a good size lounge area, a dining table and chairs for four, outside seating for four.... For the 2 of us it was a good price but for 4 sharing it would be VERY good value! Incidentally, the cottage has 2 off-road parking spaces as part of the cost!.... BRILLIANT! Yes, would highly recommend this cottage!

One VERY tiny thing... we'd have liked a hand towel in the kitchen... Only what we're used to I guess!

Very lovely cottage , very well equipped, extremely comfy beds , both bedrooms with un suite bathrooms ,had everything you need for a short or long stay

The location was excellent for where we needed to be. Louise met us at the door to hand over the keys and let us know she was next door if there were any problems. The property is very well equipped throughout and the fittings/fixtures are of high quality including bedding and towels. We were lucky with the weather so able to use the garden too.
