The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

First, the bad news: I realize Summerhouse is about 50 years old. And this unit has had updates in the past. However, we noticed an odor when we walked in that was a bit on the musty side. The shower curtain and AC vents had black mold on them, the disposal had to be replaced the first day we arrived, and the front door was nasty with rusting spots and needed to be sanded down and painted. The bathtubs were cracking in the middle, the towel racks were coming down or had holes in the wall where they used to be, The kitchen appears to be all original cabinets with maybe an update to the countertop.
The Good news:
Summerhouse is still a great place on the beach. The pools, hot tub, and other facilities were operational and reasonably clean. The beach is great, the double pool in the back is very nice, and it's not bad for an older condo.
We still had a good time, but I think this unit is due for a remodel. Not sure I'd book this one again without knowing work had been done on it.
