There may be construction at the complex, as well as a new condominium being built on the property next door, which will continue through at least the end of the present year. Work is being performed daily using heavy machinery, so construction noise is significant and previously shown views from the balcony may be impacted. This is taking place immediately adjacent to Sugar Beach, approximately 10-15 yards from this rental.

Do not expect for much more than one small person to sleep on the Futon. The place was nice for two people, but our 4 adults very really pushing the space limit. Be warned the shower door leaks. Put down a towel. Its an ok place... just a few minor annoying things.

This is just what we needed! A clean place with good amenities, right on the beach for a great price! Plenty of stuff to do close by and or simply relax on on a beach that wasn't too touristy! I would highly recommend, especially for a quick getaway!

All around this was a very pleasant experience. The property was quiet around 9 and this was one thing I was a bit concerned about since this property is right on the main strip but you really couldn’t hear anything or anybody inside of the condo. The only thing I wasn’t very happy with was the cleanliness of the countertops in the kitchen and the shower. The couch that folds down into a bed was easily operable and the bed was very comfortable.

I walked into room to find the mattress topper and bedspread in floor. Nothing was on top of the mattress to cover it. No information on local restaurants or things to do. The facility that this condo is at could be a little more updated. Beach access was great. Pools were clean. Parking was great. Will come back to facilty. Not this condo though.

The property itself was great, but the room that we got was sadly not so great. Although it was clean, there were some issues. The AC was not great we had all 3 fans and the window unit on and still was very warm, our bed felt like we were just sleeping on a pallet made on the floor, the water pressure in the shower was mid and our door code never worked, we had to call the company and ask for a new code to the door and it took 3 different codes before they found one that could get us into the room. Over all the stay was tolerable, I personally will not be staying here again but if you’re looking for a cheap stay that is close to everything then I would recommend this place.

This place was a great location but nothing else. The room upon arrival was covered in sand including in the sheets . There was mold in the shower. We were sent a code that never worked our entire trip - we had to use the universal code . No service in this area and Wi-Fi would only work occasionally. TV never could connect so you couldn’t use it at all. Overall not very clean. Would NOT recommend!

Upon arrival the lock would work so we tried to open the door and it opened. We contacted Vacasa and they said they would get on it and nothing was done so we had to block the door with ice chest. The only good thing is the room was clean. It appeared that somokicked the door open and they didn’t fix it correctly. I would’ve put more stars but there was no functioning lock on the door and no one showed up like they said they would.

First of all, the room did not match pictures. The pull out sofa bed was broken, so my teenage daughter had to sleep on the floor because we didn't want it to fall out from under her in the middle of the night. The towel rack in bathroom kept falling off the wall, so we had to hang our towels all over the room for them to dry. The wall paint was chipping. The floor was gritty from sand from the previous tentants, and we had to take out our own garbage at the end of our stay even though we had to pay $113.00 extra for a clean up fee. The balcony screen door was broke and it was all flooded. Our veiw from the balcony was a noisy construction site. Also, after we were told by the guard that the room was ready, we had to sit in the car for hours until the 4 o'clock check in time. We had to get ahold of the agent more than three times in order to get the right entry number to get into the room. The money I paid was not worth the 18 hours you get in the condo. (You must check out by 10 a.m. after not getting in until 4 p.m.) Lastly, after all the other fees you pay, there is a $30 parking fee to park in the parking garage.

It was clean and the beds were ok. The shower door was hanging loose at the bottom. The most worrisome thing was the door did not have a very secure lock. The deadbolt didn’t work because of the huge space missing on the doorframe. Had trouble with the code to get into the condo when we first got there.

Could not open door as code didn't work...construction right next door that started at 6 am...was only told after I had paid...3 forks? not a well appointed kitchen. one elevator that the door would wack you and not stop...hurt my elbow. Was told to pay $30 cash parking permit after the fact? Not a happy camper.

The location of Sugar Beach is one of the best locations in Orange Beach. The location is easy to get in and out of and not congested like most of the other places. It’s a nice short walk to the beach(just downstairs) and the elevator is also a plus! The unit we stayed in was plenty big enough for my daughter and me. We decided on the spur of the moment to take a mom/daughter trip. The Vacasa person who communicated with me was very nice and made sure we had arrived safe and had no issues with the condo. We will definitely do another spur of the moment trip to this condo!!

Window unit does not cool room. Ceiling fan broke. Bottoms of dresser drawers broken so couldn’t place clothes in there. Bed was hard as a rock. Sliding door is difficult to work. Outside Door does not shut well. Back of outside door is splintered and needs replacing.

The room was clean and safe - the shower needs updating. it had a strip of duck tape against the door. water leaked on the floor. None of the remotes worked. The bed was like sleeping on styrofoam. the futon mattress was dirty and a little worse for the wear. but what really concerned me was the state of the building itself. It is very dated. The parking situation was the worst. We watched a woman try her best to park and scrape the side of her vehicle on the column. We got stuck in the elevator. My husband had to pry it open with the help of a couple on the other side - because the emergency call button didn't work. The couple who helped said that they were stuck the night before and had to do the same thing. Water was pooling next to the stairs on the bottom floor and it was deep and extremely dirty. The banisters around the building are PVC pipe - does not look safe. we spent most of our time off the property, but the pool area and beach seemed nice.

The balcony was not usable with standing water from a pipe leak & the sliding door would not close/loc.k. the fan did not work & the shower tile was lined with duct tape which had black mold growing. The room was nice and clean when we arrived. The balcony door was very hard to open. There is a construction site right outside the balcony where they are building a huge condominium complex and they start working at 6am even on the weekends. The room is also right by the main road since it’s at the end of the facility. Aside from the balcony door, the rest of the room was nice. There was no tv remote, but Vacasa brought us one and programmed it within a few hours. 5 stars on customer service. Even though the location of this room was the worst, we would stay at this facility again. The 4 pools and uncrowded beach was worth the disturbances while in our room.

The front door was rotted and peeling! The towel bars would not hold a towel because they were falling out of the wall, there was trash under the bed. The grout is falling out and the shower was moldy! The ceiling fan did not work. The remotes for the tv would only turn it on, but would not adjust the channel or sound. The air conditioner is a wall unit and is awful. The parking garage was full of trash. This unit should NEVER have been rented in this condition. Totally disgusting!

Do NOT stay here!!! The pictures are old and not up to date. The place looks like you are walking into a prison. The room smelled of water and mold. The dresser was broken so we couldn’t put our clothes in it. The view from the balcony is now a building under construction so you have no part ocean view at all. The pool was closed one day due to construction. The parking lot is full and you can barely find a place to park. The shower head is awful and does not work properly. Overall a horrible experience with the room we stayed in. Does not look anything like the photos provided.

Pictures of place are false of the current conditions. Balcony view is completely obstructed by a new construction building going up. Dresser was broken and water damaged. Shower head is horrible. Looks like you are walking into a prison to your room. Hallways outdated and gross. Broken chairs at the pool. Limited parking when the place is full.

If you need a room with a fridge and shower, then this definitely works. The appliances are in need of updating, and the futon cushion did not appear to be very clean. The large TV was a nice bonus for my 3 y/o. The biggest issue was the door code not working upon check-in. It took 2 Vacasa representatives, a property manager, a security guard and one hour to resolve. That was definitely not fun with a toddler waiting out in the hallway.

This unit was cheaper than most others, so I did not go in expecting perfection or anything close to it, but much worse than expected. On checking in, there was a parking fee I had been unaware of. The place smelled very musty. I get it, this was a beach property, but this was pretty bad. Overall cleanliness seemed OK but there was a used bar of soap in the shower and rings around the 'clean' coffee cups in the cupboard, so not great. There was also significant construction both in this complex and next door. Two out of three mornings we had heavy equipment backup alarms going off at 5 AM next door and one morning a crew setting up scaffolding in this property right outside our front door at about 7:30. I got it, there was recently a lot of storm damage, that probably flooded the place and has to be repaired, but this was not at all adequately disclosed. Maybe a good property in a year, but would not rent in 2021. My first rental from Vacasa, but if this is an indicator, I have to question the accuracy and disclosure of any of the properties they list.

Building is located on the beach side so it is easy access. There are several pools for use, but the interior of the building looks old and run down. The condo needs some TLC and upgrades, I felt this was not worth the price that was charged.

Good location and easy beach access. I was happy with building complex and the security there but not so much with the room. The air window unit barely cooled our room, there was only 1 fork in the room so we had to keep washing and reusing among the family, there was STAINED blood all over the comforter, there was a huge crack in the door when it was closed, and the sliding glass door was off its track. Not trying to be mean just honest and wishing we would of had a different experience with the room quality.
