The place is well located, being within the town centre. My kids loved it, and enjoyed walks to the shops and restaurants. Which brings me to its biggest plus - security. The kids felt safe enough to walk from the accommodation to town on their own, even in the evening, and I was comfortable with letting them do so. As a bonus, they spotted a hippo on the street on one of their jaunts!

The location was great.
An easy drive/walk into the town.
We had some electricity and water issues the first night we were there.
That was not anybody's fault but it was a bit annoying.

I loved the scenery and the staff was extremely friendly
The cleaning staff ensured our room was cleaned and we loved interactions with security and personnel on site throughout our stay
Upon arrival, we were met by massive cockroaches in the kitchen. My husband and I were up on the first night and killed around 5 large cockroaches in the middle of the night.
We understand the location is in a tropical setting but suggest the owner invest in fumigation for cockroaches in the kitchen which wasn't pleasant in a space where we would be storing and preparing our food.
Even with cleaning personnel doing their part, the cockroaches is a pesticide and maintenance issue which needs to be attended to.
Otherwise, I would definetly come back again
