Rose Cottage

I loved the privacy around the house, the private garden, washing machine, dishwasher, washing line and the hot tub. The bed sheets were fresh and clean and the windows left open created a comfortable relaxing breeze during the heatwave.

I didn’t like the damp musty mildew sewage smell coming from the bathroom drains and the dust on the panelling in the bedroom. Due to the bathroom damp there were lots of cellar spiders throughout the cottage. There was visible mold in the top of the shower ceiling. The decor inside did look slightly like a haunted Victorian house in the living room are but the bedrooms were quaint and sweet.

Clean. Well equipped. Secure garden. Comfy beds. Hot tub which has a roof over it.

Nothing really but a hair dryer would be handy and booking.com didn’t know bar/restaurant has been knocked down and no idea if being rebuilt.

There was plenty of storage in kitchen and bedrooms. Roomz were spacious. Hot water issue on arrival was sorted promptly. Setting was nice

Cottage was only superficially clean, under sofa's were really bad. There was a sticky black mark on kitchen floor which with correct cleaning products would come off. Flooring in hall was extremely creaky which isn't great when anyone is sleeping. Outside lights didn't work. High chair legs were dirty. Shower door doesn't stay closed. Whilst I appreciate some holiday makers don't respect property a lot of refurbishment was needed
