You've found a prime location, right on the edge of the Te Anau Domain and Patience Bay of Lake Te Anau, and just 2 minutes drive to the town centre.
Te Anau is the gateway to the stunning wilderness of the Fiordlands, and is the walking capital of NZ - you can't beat experiencing the stunning untouched landscapes and bush tracks by foot.
Adrenaline seekers will be in heaven, and can explore the lake via kayak and sea plane, or explore the famous glowworm caves and conservation sanctuaries.
With so much to do and see, it's lucky there's a coffee machine at home base to fuel you up for the day ahead!
After a day of exploring Te Anau and the Fiordlands, Poppa Pete's is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Chill out in front of a movie or the big game with the Smart TV with Netflix, or get sharing your holiday snaps with free Wi-Fi available.
Of course, it wouldn't be the mighty South without a classic BBQ on the expansive deck. Enjoy dinner on the concrete table with the craggy mountain ranges a magestic backdrop.

Such a nice warm comfortable house. Would be ideal with kids having the rugby field as your backyard. Views of the lake and a 2mins drive to town. Ticked every box for us

Stunning view of the lake/mountains from the property. Massive deck and grounds for kids to play, centrally located with an easy walk to town. House offers everything you could need and was a comfortable stay. Thanks!
