Location is unbeatable for transit travel - max a few minutes from the station. Even for sightseeing I guess it's pretty good - you can be straight on the green line and into Sukhumvit for a couple of dollars within half an hour and heading back in, you're basically home as soon as you get off the train. I was in 401 and could barely hear a thing from outside. Just the vague gestalt of traffic, but nothing disturbing.
The property standards aren't that high but it's good for what it is - a well priced spot to stay if you have an overnight connection through Suvarnabhumi airport as the station Phaya Thai - is the last stop on the airport line.

BTS STATION VERY CLOSE.
Bed too hard. Also twin bed.too uncomfortable.
