The mattress was very hard

Although the hotel was old it was in a very clean condition throughout. Doorman helped us with carrying our suitcases inside. Porter carried our cases and showed us to our room. Our room had real parquet flooring. This hotel is possibly the best positioned hotel in Bangkok. People who struggle with stairs will find the BTS rail line accessible by lift only 50 yards to the left of the hotel front door. About another 50 yards beyond the lift is an elevator on your left taking you up to the Sky Train to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Approximately 30 minute journey time. Shame about the lack of breakfast, tea, coffee and kettle facility's.

Lack of breakfast and beverages gave this hotel more of a hostel feel to it. I would have increased my score if tea and coffee were supplied. Zero view from our bedroom window. 5" wide alleyway with a blank wall.

Very good location to airport train, and all rail lines really. Walking distance to centre of city shopping malls. The price was excellent.

Some rooms are VERY noisy from traffic. So I asked and they changed me to a much quieter room. Rooms were dusty in areas. It is an old hotel with old but functional shower system.
