Tourist Trap

It’s close to the Markplatz.

It’s a terrible place, it stinks from the restaurant below, the towels are smelly, it has no curtains, it’s cold. Worst place I stayed in Switzerland, ever.

Great location. Open and airy feel. A couch would be nice but can relax on the beds. Owner is very friendly and has great Italian restaurant downstairs.

City centre apartment.

We were right in the centre, fantastic location. Our hosts were lovely, really helpful. The apartment was spacious for the three of us and clean.

We would have loved a sofa, instead of a bed/s in every room. It was quite basic. We thought if there were 6 adults it would be a struggle to share the one tiny bathroom. Having read the other reviews my expectations were not super high, so overall very happy with our stay. Tourist tax is payable on arrival. Having been to Switzerland a few times we knew this, but others may not and it should be clearer on the booking.

location is good , it already in old town parking is a minute to walk

there is not a 3 bedroom apartment actually 2 beds is in front of the main door with TV 2 beds is in living room with kitchen and table 1 double bed in bedroom with toilet restaurant’s toilet is next to an apartment, there are many people will come up, but we don’t mind this as we back to the apartment at night time

The location, the apartment was basic but clean.

It's not a 3 bedroom apartment. There is one bedroom with a shower / bathroom. You enter this room from the kitchen (where there's also a dining table and beds ) and you enter the kitchen from the hallway/ entrance to the apartment, where there's also a bed and tv. So for everyone need to go into the sleeping area of another person in order to go to the toilet or to the kitchen or leave the apartment. The wifi didn't work, the owner was nice and gave us the password of the restaurant wifi but the signal was too low

Basic apartment, with a good central location.

The location is very central, but just off the market square on a little side street. Easy to find and the building is charming from the outside. Beds were comfy sleeping in. Communication ahead of our stay was clear with good instructions for how to access the apartment. The three rooms are rather big but there are beds in all of them(even in the kitchen and the entrance/tv room). The kitchen room has a big table and chairs, and was very roomy. Everything is very basic, and was ok for our one night stay, but could with a little effort easily be upgraded to a very nice stay experience.

The key box was placed very high up and was even hard for me as a tall person to access with the code. There were no reading lights by the double bed, and the kids thought it was weird that their beds where just by the entrance door. No instructions for how to get the tv to work, and we couldn’t figure it out. It was very hot in the apartment, but only one fan at hand - considering many sleeping rooms.

Pleasant

The host, Ivan, organised for Basel cards in advance giving us free public transport. Great space in a convenient location.

The restaurant toilet was just next to where we slept. The restaurant closed at 2300 so it was noisy until then. Some rowdiness in the street and then the bin men meant it was a disturbed night - even with ear plugs!

Es war etwas hellhörig in der Wohnung von aussen , genau wie im Haus. Die Wohnungsaustattung war zweckmässig, aber nicht gemütlich.

Die Lage war Top. Die Kontaktpräsenz des Vermieters auch. Die Räume waren sehr grosszügig und schön (Altbau). Frische Bettwäsche war da. Der Vermieter war sehr entgegenkommend.

Die Küche war in einem schlechten Zustand(unsauber), alles etwas lotterig und schmutzige Utensilien. minimalistisch Ausstattung. Betten sind schlecht. dünne Matratzen, schmal. Duschvorhang hing so tief, dass es den Abfluss verstopfte. Die Toilette des Restaurants ist auf dem selben Stock. Man hört alles.

Basel Altstad bölgesinin tam merkezinde konakladık. Tarihi ve turistik noktaların tümüne yürüyerek ulaşabildik. Ev sahibi ile iletişim oldukça iyiydi; anahtar bulma yönlendirmeleri harikaydı. 150-200 metre mesafede ücretli kapalı otopark bulunuyor.

Asansör bulunmuyor! 2 kat merdiven çıkarak daireye ulaşılabiliyor. Tek kişilik yataklar çok çok dardı; sağdan sola dönmek mümkün değil neredeyse! Dairenin zemini ahşap parke ve adım attıkça yerlerden ses geliyor. Evin ısıtması çok yetersizdi. Mutfakta yer alan malzemeler pek temiz görünmüyordu, kullanamadık bu sebeple. Ayrıca dairede koltuk bulunmuyor; günün yorgunluğu ile sırtınızı yaslanacak ne yatak ne koltuk yok. ya sadece yatabilirsiniz ya da yemek masasındaki sandalyelerde oturabilirsiniz.

Es ist eine Altstadt Wohnung mit zwei steilen Treppen in die Wohnung. Für fitte Personen aber überhaupt kein Problem. Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Küche. Wichtig: es ist trotz laufender Heizung recht kühl in der Wohnung. Für den Sommer sicher wunderbar.
