An absolutely stunning chalet which had been renovated in the most stylish way.

Everything was excellent. Not a criticism of the place at all but it’s worth noting that the location is pretty remote. Perfect for relaxing!

The breakfast and lady serving were the highlight. Had to drive to restaurant - too long of a walk.

Host gives shower sandals too small - can’t wear shoes.

Dark room and dark areas; elevator - had to push button during entire ride; difficult codes for access

A disappointing experience

The location was great, and the chalet had been refurbished to a very high standard. The room was spacious, and the commmon area looked good.

The spa and sauna smelt mouldy, and the breakfast was most disappointing for the price point. We were served orange juice that had gone bad, stale bread rolls and pastries, and the cheapest coffee bags and conserves available. There was a poor selection of cooked meats and cheese. While were there someone turned up with their dog. It was unpleasant to find it present in the dining and communal seating area.. There is no public transport service to the chalet. There was no local information available, just an attempt to sell local products by stocking resident's individual fridges with stuff to buy.

Exceptional place in the French Alps .

Very nice and recently remodeled old country house with modern conveniences. Without a doubt, I would say, EXCEPTIONAL. Nice rooms and bathrooms with comfortable amenities throughout. Extremely generous common area that can easily accommodate 20 guests in various rooms and settings. Entertainment rooms with various options stay at the fussy guests discretion ...

Unfortunately, our stay was rather short and didn't get to enjoy everything the chalet had to offer.

Amazing location in a very nice chalet. It was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was very nice.

There was no window on eye height, so could only look up to the sky.

No AC - that is a must, gets really hot. It is okay to have guest with animals, but would be nice for a hotel to have some kind of rules that animals would not run freely in common areas without the attention of the owners as we experienced that.

It felt like I was at home... an amazing home in the French Alps.

I want to live in such a place! Every detail makes you feel like in your own very friendly home in the Alps. You receive a message and checkin without meeting a person, you put on the mandatory slippers, you find your beautiful room, and then go explore the chalet with all imaginable amenities, including spa, jacuzzi bath, gaming room with PS4, reading corner, chess, billiard... You choose how you want to spend your evening: spa, jacuzzi, play video games in the gaming room, read in the reading corner, play board games or billiard, or watch a movie all together on the big screen. You can even change the music on the iPad, or turn it down altogether to play some guitar (acoustic). All in a very warm atmosphere, where every single thoroughly thought detail is designed to make you feel at home. I'd love to rent this chalet for a week with friends, it should be an unforgettable experience. Rooms are superb, pets are welcomed, breakfast is great, waking up in the middle of the Alps is priceless.

Exceptional

The accommodation was one of the best we have ever stayed in. The standard of cleanliness, facilities, equipment etc could not have been better. We were a couple but I could easily see a large family or a group staying there which would be great fun. Breakfast was prepared each day by a very helpful person local to the area soo was also full of good helpful information. There were restaurants close by but we ate in. There is a town with a supermarket and shops about 4 miles away. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Lovely place (but did not care for the shared spaces)

This place is absolutely amazing! The room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated with a super comfortable bed. Our bedroom had a small patio with wonderful views in both directions. Beautiful spa and a cool entertainment room with pool and flipper, so even if you get tired of walking in the beautiful surroundings, you won't be bored. Nice breakfast!

We didn't like the fact that we couldn't have privacy at breakfast and had to sit at the long table with two other couples, just beside them, while they were conversing in German. For us, Swedes, it is completely unacceptable not to switch to English when there are people at the table who do not undestand what we are saying, but as it doesn't seem to be the general rule, separate tables in the kitchen area would be prefered.

Exceptional

Everything. This place is heaven on earth. The location is incredible, the Chalet itself is 5 star inside out. You have gaming rooms, jacuzzi, hamam and sauna. All well equipped and very clean. The lounge is superb and very welcoming. You can literally sit there all day and listen to the nature. Sabine (breakfast lady) is the kindest and generous person you will meet. She was one of the highlights of our stay. So welcoming and accommodating and she makes amazing scrambled eggs. The whole breakfast was 5 star. Thank you for this experience. This is now one of our favourite places to stay. People who voted 5 star for this place must be really spoiled in real life.
