The room was spacious and very comfortable. The pillows were amazing! Best pillows in our entire stay in Italy by far. The room (ours was the Red Room) was spacious and well-lit with an excellent TV and plenty of storage; its bathroom is small with all one’s needs met. The common room has almost everything that a couple or small family on a budget could want: a place to eat food you bring, real plates and silverware, glasses, and mugs. Other tourists sharing the common room were friendly. Our cleaning lady was SO accommodating. She helped us figure out how to access our room keys, helped us maneuver a broken glass jar, and got us things to clean up the spillage, and in general had a positive attitude. Our host Paolo, communicated with us before and during our stay. He is quick to answer any questions we had.
The door leading to the building needs some TLC. It’s broken and has graffiti. Judging the AirBnB from the door alone might make you wonder if it was a safe area. It is. And it’s a popular area with tourists. The street is very lively all day and part of the evening, too. What would be the lobby of the building is very dirty, smelly, and cluttered with all kinds of things— from construction materials, trash cans, mopeds and motorcycles, an open air market merchant’s booth and items covered with a cloth. When I walked in there, I wondered about security and what we had rented… 😬 I didn’t like that I wasn’t told in advance that there were three flights of stairs with no option for an elevator. We had two large pieces of luggage (we’re in Italy for a wedding) that were extremely heavy. The flights of stairs made getting to Studio Napoli 112 challenging as you cannot roll them up the wide, high marble staircases. The stair situation would also be difficult to navigate for older persons. However, Studio Napoli 112 is clean and our room was terrific. As mentioned earlier, our host, Paolo, was quick to answer texts. This was necessary because opening the door to the common room was difficult. The link situation is not intuitive and we had poor WiFi reception right by the door. Thank God for the cleaning lady that heard me struggling to get it open and opened it for us. My only suggestion for improvement in the common area would be a larger refrigerator with a separate freezer with ice. This fridge is shared by two other rooms. We were coming from a week in Salerno where we had rented an apartment and had about six small leftover food items. The refrigerator in Studio Napoli 112 was very small, like a hotel mini bar.

Overall, this property was amazing! The room was comfortable (with great AC) and in a great/central location. It also came with breakfast, which were tickets to get a coffee and a croissant each morning from the connect cafe. I would overall recommend!
To get into the apartment, you have to walk into doors that look "sketchy" to someone who has not traveled much. For me, it was fine; however, if you have never encountered this before, it may seem concerning until you reach the room, which is nothing like the entrance (very nice rooms, as per my positive portion of the review). You also have to walk up about two and a half flights of stairs, so I would not recommend if you are handicapped in terms of stair usage.

Great location; easy self check-in; host let we check-in earlier; good air conditioner; good breakfast
Too noisy even with closed windows; bad pillows; the floor was very dusty; the shower did not fix to the wall
