About this apartment rental
At the foot of Lycabettus, in a quiet and safe neighborhood in Kolonaki is our two bedroom apartment.
According to mythology, the Lycabettus hill was created from a rock carried by the goddess Athena to build the Acropolis, but it dropped from her hands when a passing crow has informed her of some bad news.
Our beautiful house is located on the first floor of a block of flats, completely renovated and can accommodate up to six guests in its premises. It has two bedrooms, one of which has a private bathroom and an extra bathroom with a shower.
The balcony of the living room is embraced by the warmth of this quiet neighborhood of Kolonaki. The single space of the white kitchen, with its round dining table and the modern lounge, will become the favorite relaxing spot for your family or friends. The apartment is fully equipped that you may need on your vacation or business trip short or medium stay.
Within 300 meters from the apartment is the Evangelismos Hospital and the Metro stop (Blue Line) for the airport, but also for Syntagma Square, Monastiraki and Acropolis.

The area of Kolonaki is famous for its market and for the luxurious restaurants and cocktail bars.
You can find the most highly respected restaurants and bars like the luxurious Zurbaran Athens restaurant, the Italian restaurants Trattora Capanna, Sale & Pepe and Malconis, the French restaurant Abreuvoir, the Greek restaurant Barbounaki and Kalamaki Kolonaki, and the cocktail bar Ante Post Athens.
An afternoon hike on the hill will enchant you, since you can admire the sunset and the immense view of Athens, while the look literally reaches the port of Piraeus. You can see the monuments of ancient Athens, the Parthenon, Herod Atticus Odeon and Kallimarmaro, where the Olympic Games were revived. A hundred meters from the house there is a path that leads you to the hill and, in a more relaxed way, you can reach the Teleferik (Lycabettus Cable Car), which in three minutes will take you to the top of the hill, where from 1870 the chapel of Saint George and the most popular spot of Lycabettus the ancient theater.
In the neighborhood you will find what you need, flea market with fruits and vegetables (every Friday), supermarket, cinema, laundry, pet clinic, pharmacies, florists, cafes and restaurants.
Nearby are the most important museums of Athens such as: Benaki Museum, Museum of Cycladic Art, Byzantine and War Museum.
Shattle mini bus or taxi can be arranged with extra charge.

Great place! We stayed there 5 nights, check in and check out was easy. Great communication from host. Location is perfect; we walked into Plaka and to the major sites. Lots of stairs to get back up to Kolanaki, so we got a workout. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, AC worked well, comfy living space. Overall a great place.
