About this house rental
“Kookoolamonga!” is a beautiful custom built, 5-bedroom home with ocean views and superior beach access just 600 feet from the ocean. There are 3 levels in this tastefully furnished vacation retreat. An elevator is convenient for luggage and groceries and also allows those in need to enjoy all levels of the home. For the Tesla drivers out there, there is a Tesla 220 VAC 48 AMP wall connector charger installed in the carport!

The upper level has a large great room with a surround sound-supported QLED TV with Apple TV and a LoveSac Modular Sectional. This bright and open room has a sun deck, powder room, master bedroom, a well-stocked kitchen with stainless appliances and breakfast bar for 6 and a dining room area with seating for 10.
The mid-level has a reading area with a flat screen TV, powder room, laundry room with washer, dryer, and deep sink, and 3 master bedrooms.
The lower level has a dry entry, pool table, full size refrigerator with 2nd ice maker, sink, large TV, a bathing suit spin dryer, and a **handicap friendly bedroom and bath designed for wheelchair access.
Outside is a pebble stoned, salt-water pool with heat option, hot tub, private outdoor shower, and gas grill. A wagon beach cart will help carry your gear to the beach and 2 Minnesota Fat Bikes are provided for cruising up and down the Beach Road.
Work remotely or retreat with your leadership team with many features that support brainstorming sessions, family reunions, board meetings, and groups that blend working from home and online learning. A Mesh Wi-Fi System eliminates internet dead zones. Located on a quiet Nags Head street just steps from a great beach access. Accommodations were great, house was very nice and the kitchen was well -equipped. (Great cookware). The pool was small but nice. Lots of cobwebs and spiders. There were what appeared to roaches one on the middle level patio, one in the lower level shower and several running from under the hot tub. I would recommend an exterminator to spray the base of the home outside.

This was a family vacation and the space was the perfect size for our family (3 different families) to come together yet be able to spread out! It was a great location in Nags Head, close to the beach and the highway. It was close enough for the teens to go play golf, get ice cream, bike and go back and forth to the beach safely. Having en-suite bathrooms was a huge plus so everyone had their own privacy. If you are planning a vacation with multiple families this is a great location!

Rented property due to being handi-capp friendly. I use a walker so it was perfect! Vacationed with husband & our 4 adult kids with their significant others plus granddaughter. All enjoyed property very much! Perfect week! Drive from Massachusetts not bad...we did in 2 days.

Rating Details:The property manager was very helpful.The vacation rental was spotless.I was very happy with the location.I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.Reviewer Comments:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; but with small children we did a lot of child proofing with the beach knick knacks. Some of the doors were hard to lock. It was within walking distance to the beach. There was sufficient parking for our entire family and the elevator was indeed a plus. All the rooms were comfortable. We also enjoyed the park so close by.
