Lovely calming place with amazing food (also vegan), awesome staff and pool

Breakfast and many options of food - very taste, even vegan options available. You could order drinks and food to your room or pool at any time. Very friendly staff, nice pool and just calm. Out of Canggu center and traffic in a side street. But with a little walk or grab you can reach many cafes and restaurants.

Great value for money

The bathroom we had in our room was excellent. The shower was amazing, very spacious and clean with a big bathtub. The room was very clean, with a generous balcony overlooking the pool.

The property is adjacent to 'the shortcut' scooter road. It has a huge amount of traffic on it each day from early till very late at night. It can be quite noisy at times, to the point it would wake me in the early hours of the morning when the noisy bikes would roar along there.

Upstairs rooms had awful noise from the nearby shortcut. And who put green glass on the windows? Gives pretty nasty shade to the whole room. Asked for a downstairs room then. Awfully old towels, sheets and pillows. Dirty with old stains. Asked to change my blanket, it looked like it's been through a lot. No soundproofing in Jogo rooms. Holes in the walls, you'll hear everything. And don't take their scooters - they're old and scratched. Their massage is also pretty bad. And please make "cleaning/no cleaning" plates for the guests to display outside, it's annoying when you're resting and someone shouting from the outside of you need cleaning. Also, if this hotel is displayed as a 4star, the cleaning must be done daily.

The staff is really nice and most of them tried their best providing a good experience despite challenges

I was given the worst unit in the whole complex. some rooms there are okay, I was given the worst one and even told to pay a bit more to 'upgrade'. - Airconditioining was not working, took 2 days to start fixing it. before that I was questioned (it was not believed it was not working). It was heavily leaking water, the whole floor was full of water, and the first I was told was that I might have ruined the AC (which is absolutely not true). there was lack of care and empathy and I was left for 2 days to be in a room with broken AC and leaking water everywhere on the floor, without any compensation being offered. I was told the booking was not refundable. - Room was very noise from the shortcut motorcycle noise, the whole day there is road noise in that room I asked for understanding on changing room or compensation for the fact I did not have a working airconditioning

Ruined by construction right next door

The room was huge and tastefully decorated. Loved the huge bathtub. Wifi and aircon worked well.

We were in the middle of a building site! What the photos don't show is the construction site right next door. View from our room was the construction site (and all the workers could see us) and the Infinity pool looked directly into the building site so was neither attractive or serene. I wanted to work whilst there which was interrupted by generator noise and had planned to lay by the pool which I didn't feel comfortable doing with all the builders right there. Totally ruined our stay, sadly, and not the green and serene escape I was expecting.

The villa was very well designed and comfortable, we enjoyed the bathtub and layout of the villa.

The pool faces onto a busy construction site, and it isn’t quiet or peaceful with picturesque surrounds as shown in the photos.

There were lizards in our room even when the doors were always closed. There was poop on the bed when we entered the room and got even more poop when we were in bed. Room were full so couldn't change rooms... Location wasn't ideal. A bit far from the lively canggu vibe

Lovely place, but the constructions in front of the property destroyed the view and it was noisy.

The room was spacious, Netflix in the TV, bathroom was big and the pool area was nice.

Unfortunately there are constructions happening in front of the property and therefore the view from the pool is not as stated on the pictures. You see constructions, construction workers and a lot of noise during the day. Blanket in my bed was torn apart and there was no cold water coming from the sink- only super hot so I hat to brush my teeth from the bathtub.

The type of hotel which is better to avoid

How good marketing (despite reality) this place has

The cleanliness was bad and even after asking to clean the bathtub and under the bed it did not get better (I have pictures before and after). Everytime we were arriving we had to walk around the construction - no car could pass, the road is dangerous (even our taxi driver refused to walk down for the payment and asked the guy from reception to drive him with scooter to the reception). Nobody helped us with the luggage (none of the two booked rooms), it was very difficult to walk there with the stroller - iron inches, plastics and wood pieces were on the only road leading to the hotel and the construction workers were shouting at us (3 women and one small girl…) obscenely. Every morning we were awaken by constructiin mechanics. I understand I am in tropical area, but the reality absolutely did not correspond to what was presented on booking. It was so bad, that after two nights (out of total four nights where two rooms were booked and paid) we left. We were provided no financial compensation for the two nights we did not stay in the hotel even after communicating what the problems with the rooms were. Complete loss of money and precious time on holiday.

the room was very clean, the bathroom is very well-designed. the bed was comfortable and the pillows were really comforatable. i slept very well during the nights

the TV was quite small, it was difficult to watch TV because the subtitles would be too small if we wanted to lean on our pillows, against the wall . the tv was hung very high on the wall, if you have this kind of design, usually you would assume that you could watch tv very comfortably by leaning on your pillows. there was only a bottle of water and two glasses for refreshment. for the amount of money you paid, you would usually at least get some tea pads as well. the noise insulataion was not great, we heard noise from outside because they are doing construction in front of the hotel, which actually ruined the view and the reason we chose this hotel. you cant really sleep late cuz they start their work early.

Beautiful location, amazing swimming pool and great food (from the Warung). The room was nice and the bathroom very stylish. The staff was great apart from a moody supervisor that definitely did not fit the Bali standard of politeness.

Bed was hard and pillow uncomfortable. There is light entering from the ceiling in the room, so 100% you will wake up at 7 am. The Spa: we did a massage and was absolutely awful. The place is definitely not up to the hotel standards. Don’t go even if it is offered, save yourself from that experience. This was the most expensive hotel of our trip but definitely not the nicest one. We were treated amazingly and enjoyed a lot the other ones, hence the high expectations. I guess you pay the price of being in Canggu.

Very nice place, quiet and with a nice view. But that also means it’s a bit away from everything.

Very nice place. The room was spacious and clean and the view overlooking the rice fields was relaxing and nice. The closest cafe “The Shortcut cafe” is very nice and offers very good breakfast.

If you don’t have a scooter it is a bit off. We didn’t mind the walk but it is good to know and the streets are pretty dark. I wouldn’t have stayed here if I was on my own.

Relaxing and safe

The location was perfect. Just near a shortcut into the Main Street of Canggu, but quiet and relaxing at the villa. The staff were very accommodating and polite.

Everything was great, although the shower head didn’t work properly.
