En ren och fräsch lägenhet mitt i gamla stan och nära till stranden.
Att man inte fick laga mat, trots att det fanns spis.

Situation idéale (proche du port et du centre-ville) pour visiter Salerne et ses alentours. La chambre et les pièces communes étaient très propres. Possibilité aussi d’utiliser la cuisine et le frigo, ce qui était super ! L’hôte Katerina a été adorable avec nous, serviable et très disponible.
La rue est très bruyante et la chambre mal isolée, il y a beaucoup de bruit la nuit. La porte de la chambre est vitrée et sans rideau, il y avait parfois de la lumière la nuit ou tôt le matin et nous avions peu d’intimité… Mais pour un court séjour ce n’est pas dramatique !

-locking bedroom door
-check in wasn’t clear. We are not from Italy and we had to roam on our phones in order to get ahold of someone to get keys. A local man who only spoke Italian (which is totally fine, just made the whole process more confusing since we couldn’t communicate with him) tried to help us and used his cell phone to call as well and he let us in the building but we had no idea what we were doing/who to meet/where to go.
-not enough toilet paper provided in bathroom
-bedroom door is loud when opening/closing, the glass in the middle rattles very loudly.
-glass door is much less private/lets lots of light in if others turn the hall light on late at night
-no shampoo/body wash provided. Only a bar of soap, in a shared bathroom, and hand soap.
-no garbage bin or bag provided in the room
-there looks like there’s a kitchen and maybe balcony? But I guess that is a separate bedroom and not accessible for others? Not a big deal, but it was confusing.
-not a property problem, but a shared bathroom means relying on the other people sharing will be respectful of how long they take in the bathroom, which was not always the case.
-overall, our stay was fine but having to roam on our phones was very annoying when I thought someone was meeting us at the apartment but I suppose that is part of travelling. We just found some basics and common sense things were missing.
