Beautiful place in the Swedish countryside

Beautiful location surrounded by nature. Clean and comfy, a very peaceful stay! Seemed to be a good range of accommodation, camping caravans and private inside rooms. There are bikes there that I assumed were OK to ride to the village etc.

Stayed for two nights, no sign of staff at any point which is fine but maybe don’t expect a personal touch. Would have been nice to get a little more info on the islands and how to best visit them, I did a walking/ferry tour of a few but maybe taking a bike would have been better as some of the distances were large to walk. The fees of 50 for a towel, 100 for bedding and 250 for cleaning if you didn’t sweep the floor etc I didn’t like at all, I don’t think these are really enforced as no one is around but I’d expect these services as a bare minimum for any place I’d stay.

Lovely extended weekend away in a gorgeous setting in Sweden, with great access to Goteborg

Solhem Bohus Bjorko was located on the rural island of Bjorko with great access to bike and hiking trails and a gorgeous local swim spot just a 2 minute walk away. The property itself was well equipped and cleaned regularly with a spacious kitchen with plenty of storage and lots of different rooms to chill out. The bedroom was a bit snug but to expected and worked perfectly for what we needed! The staff were very friendly and always ready to help out.

Limited services on the island so would’ve been easier with a car.

Great location for anything outdoor. Lovely village with a supermarket, two restaurants and a fuel station. Easy to reach via (free) Ferry. Very clean and cozy.

Could be much better

Nice and bright room with new furniture and a beautiful view. Quiet and relaxing environment, perfect for a getaway. Good and clean bed linen. The kitchen is huge, lacks a few essentials though. Bathroom very basic but does the job. Good wifi. There is a little ICA shop in walking distance and the bus basically stops in front of the property.

They charge extra for bed linen. Cleanliness is questionable. Yellow stains on the blanket, mattress cover and drawers in the bed were covered with hair, dust and filth. I had beg bug bites after the first night. Showed them to staff but he was indifferent saying it was moskitos. Not hard to tell the difference tbh

This was my third stay here and I keep loving it more and more! The kitchen is great and has everything one needs, the common areas are cosy and roomy, the location and island are beautiful and it’s an excellent value for the money. The staff have always been super friendly and welcoming too. Highly recommended and hoping to come back again soon!

cute hostel with access to phenomenal hiking trails

This hostel is run by the association of the deaf of Göteborg - something I only found outupon arrival. It’s a lovely house with a great kitchen that has all the equipment you could ever need. Private access to the sea, lovely patios with sun all round and the bus stop right outside the door.

The bed in the single room is probably a children’s bed. I’m 1.68m and barely fit. The women’s bathroom could use some touching up. It might be worth writing on booking.com that staff is deaf and check in therefore slightly different.

Reasonable and well priced, no frills campsite with indoor room based facility.

Facility all clean and tidy, quiet and able to keep myself to myself.

Checkin via phone was a little impersonal but easy enough once I figured out that was what had to be done. No room guide in the room. heater was impossible to figure out how to turn on.

Calm and cozy, it is on the Björkö island and the countryside is amazing! The accommodation is very good and comfortable, shared bathroom was very clean. There is also a big kitchen, dining area and common room with couches, tv and board games.

The room is very small and it was a little cold in it.

Great place to stay with kids, the trampoline is a big attraction! The family rooms kitchens are very well equipped with cooking utensils, pots and pans, coffee machine, microwave and oven.
