About this house rental
Absolutely awesome lake front premier property with its own 28 ft private dock. The house is newly remodeled 3 bedroom 3 bathroom home. The house is very nice in a nice neighborhood and not simply a cabin. Wood floors and carpets accommodate this perfect vacation rental that has a master bedroom with king bed and on suite bathroom. The home also has a bunk room and a room with a queen. The couches in the huge living room features hide away beds if you are seeking to sleep a couple of extra kids. The house has a washer and dryer, nice TVs, fire pit, private dock, propane grill, coffee maker, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and incredible lake views. There is parking for any size boat trailer and number of cars. In the Gravois Arm and easy road access with a community dock, if you are in the know, it’s by far the best rental for the money on the lake.

Great place BUT needs a better cleaning crew. The front porch had two filthy tables and two broken chairs, if we wanted to set on any deck or chairs, we had to clean them first The grill only halfway worked. Considering it was July, would’ve thought the windows should have had at least a spring cleaning. Had to wash the towels before we used them because they smelled like they were used to dry off a dog. The showers were wonderful, swimming, boating was the best part. Inside of house looks great but smelled of wet dog, the couches/extra sleeping was extremely uncomfortable. We had to find pillows to put under us just so our knees wasn’t to our nose. Master bedroom was awesome, Queen bedroom had a night stand with a lamp but not plugged in(had to find an extension cord, so my dad could plug in his oxygen tank), bunk room—. vents are covered but was a fan in the room.. bottom bunk has a plastic cover and overlay that was half off the bad spent the whole time trying to get the overlay on the mattress inside of the plastic and then the sheets did not fit on the bed, so came off every night, ended up tucking the comforter all around and used extra blankets from the closet for a cover. We were manly at the house to eat and sleep. Super great location!!!! Plan on coming back to this area.

Nice location and nice public space. Property had 3 full bathrooms which was really nice for a house of this size. The driveway had been washed out from the rain and was very difficult to get in and out of with certain cars but that was unexpected by the owner as well.

I feel the owner really needs to know how their cleaning crew is doing.
The 2 things I always look at is cleanliness and comfort. When we walked up to front door it was dirty. The stove was filthy. I could see the crud under the coils. I didn’t dare lift the stove top.
When we sat down on the couches we sank so low we needed help to get out.
We had to put pillows down just so we could sit on them. We loved the dock. We were going to cook out on the grill but it didn’t work and it was filthy. I did call the owner about it and she was gracious and got us a new grill.We had to clean the table and chairs in the deck before we could sit at it. It still had the old leaves all over the deck. It could have been swept.
A couple of the steps really need to be fixed.
I hate having to leave this kind of review. We don’t expect perfection but this house needs a better cleaning crew and better comfort.
