Bathed in natural light, this romantic island cottage has been completely re-imagined with modern beach house furnishings and a sleek new kitchen, including custom cabinetry and stainless-steel appliances.
Perfect for a couple or family of four, Periwinkle boasts a king size bed in master suite, and 2 additional twin beds in an upper, open loft, and children under 8 months or over 8 years are welcome.
A spacious wrap around deck offers outdoor lounging and dining space. An enticing new hot tub is tucked discreetly into a corner for maximum privacy. Relish in the tropical sunset over Great Cruz Bay, and stargaze in the evening. If you prefer, lounge inside in the inviting, beautifully decorated great room, watching a game or just getting lost in a good book.
Creature comforts and amenities include cable TV with premium programming and wireless internet access. Of course, full laundry access is on premises.
Periwinkle is conveniently located on Rock Ridge Road just past the Westin between Great Cruz Bay and Chocolate Hole, in a lovely quiet neighborhood.
While Periwinkle rents individually and is lushly landscaped for privacy, it is often rented for family reunions, weddings and retreats with its sister properties (Jasmine, Hawksbill and Rosebay). In total, the four houses accommodate up to 16 people and are discreetly separated by stone paths lined with mature, aromatic flowering plants.

My husband and I had the best time in St. John.. Destination st John rental services went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed including transportation. We are forever grateful for the wonderful experience and hope to return soon..

This property is conveniently located near Cruz Bay for shopping and restaurants and therefore near all the beaches on the island. The house is poised on a hill overlooking Great Cruz Bay and has beautiful views morning or night of the bay, the boats, and the islands.
The house is tastefully decorated and well-appointed. All the furniture, kitchen supplies, beds, linens, etc. are top shelf. Recently renovated, it is beautifully done and has all the amenities of home. Wifi, Bose, and television allow you to use your computer and phones without a hitch.
The outside grill, table and chairs, and hot tub on the deck are great additions. Quiet and private, I would stay here again.
